Ch108: Will you marry me?

Emah widened her eyes in shock. Why did Dave look like that? Wasn't he supposed to be happy that Mia wanted to confess to him?

“Dave… You should listen to her. She has sacrificed a lot for that,” she tried to say.

But Dave was already running up the stairs. “No! I am going to stop her,” he said, and he disappeared.

Emah trembled. She hurriedly took her phone and called Dan. They had to stop Dave from saying anything that would make Mia feel bad or unwanted.

“Dan! Dave is not okay! He doesn't want Mia's confession," Emah said while panting. She was scared to death.

Dan, on the other side, was confused. “What? Shouldn't he be happy?“ He asked. But he paused when he saw Dave run towards them. “He is here."

“Dan! You have to stop him. He can't stop Mia. Hold him till I am there,” Emah said, running to the rooftop.
