At age 17I can not stop staring at my school lunch. It's supposed to be mashed potatoes and gravy but it looks like someone just threw up old potatoes and don't get my started on the gravy. The gravy does not even smell good. I push the lunch tray and turn my head in disgust."I'm pretty sure the lunch lady is trying to kill us all". I announce glancing around at my friends."I told you to always pack your lunch on Potato Thursday". My best friend Rhea smiles at me.Rhea has been my best friend since I moved here to Portland. She has short wavy blonde hair and bright green eyes. She is so beautiful and energetic and everyone loves her. We met when I moved here around seven years ago and I hardly remember my life before this place.My father is the pack lawyer and I know you are thinking what kind of werewolves needs a lawyer? Well many do as my dad helps with the contracts between other packs and also helps with the business side of the pack. Our Alpha Floyd own many businesses and my father also helps other wolves with their businesses on pack lands and off.My mother's job is pretty much spending money. I swear all the woman does is to shop and constantly redecorate our house. She shops more than me and I am a teenager, almost an adult. My eighteenth birthday is in four days.My other best friend Layla shoves her sandwich in my face getting my attention. She has short black hair cut into a pixie cut. She is as tough as can be and tries to be the momma bear of our trio,always taking care of me and Rhea."Here you can have my other sandwich,I packed extra and by extra,I mean six". I decided to speak up and break the awkward silence. " I just hope my parents believe me. I feel so bad for lying to them but there are so hesitant of me finding a mate. It was either no boyfriend or they picked on for me. I refused to let them decide who I fate so I have just stayed single. MIA'S POVAt age 17When I asked my dad about going to camp this year,he got angry and shifted. He broke a lamp and destroyed the living room couch. So obviously he did not want me to go,which is why I'm sneaking off to go there. ETHAN'S POVI'm sitting in my family's private jet waiting for my two dumb best friends to join me. They are always late and I hate it. MIA'S POVWe all take our bags to our room and start unpacking. I offered to share space with Layla but she said she only brought one bag and does not plan on unpacking. After unpacking, Rhea suggested we should walk around and get familiar with the place and I agree as I've been feeling anxious since we arrived though I'm not sure if it's being in a new place or all the different wolves around. Hopefully, a walk will help. Once outside, we pass many other cabin that looks like ours.
