Chapter 7

Jason's ( P. O. V. )

2 hours later

I looked down at my wrist watch while the robot turned red. It's 3pm right now.

I glanced at Maria who's asleep. Everyone else is also asleep, except me... I can't sleep because I'm the driver.

I looked at the scenery, Las Vegas is so beautiful, the sign is so welcoming.

"Y'all heifers wake up!" I yelled.

"Why are you yelling Jason I'm right next to you?" Maria asked, rubbing her eyes.

She slowly turned her head to looked at me. 

Those eyes...

We stared at each other for a few minutes until Lola started yelling in our faces, bringing us back to reality.

"We're here!, We're here!, We're here!" She yelled happily.

"What's with the yelling?" Adam questioned, yawning.

"We're in Las Vegas Adam wake up." I informed him, pulling up at a garage, to refuel the car.

"Jason do you have any money to pay to refuel the car." Maria asked looking at me with worry written all over her face.

"I always have some cash with me." I replied. 

"Hello sir, welcome to Las Vegas, it will be $50 dollars to refuel your car." The garage worker requested.

"Okay." I simply replied, I gave him the 50 bucks he asked for and waited while he refueled the car.

"So, where are we going to stay?" Ben asked looking at me.

"I didn't book a hotel because it was a last minute decision, my dad doesn't have a house or an apartment here either, so..." I paused to think.

"So, can't we just go to a hotel and get rooms for all of us, you have the money right cause we have to pay in cash." Maria suggested.

"I have a credit card, so we have to withdraw money from it to pay for the hotel rooms." I responded.

"Some hotels use credit cards and cheques right?" Carla inquired, looking at me, waiting for me to answer.

"Yeah, some hotels do." I answered.

"Sir all done, hope you enjoy your stay here in Las Vegas." the garage worker said.

"Thank you so much..."I trailed off.

I don't know his name...

"Zack, my name is Zack turner and you welcome." he interjected.

"Have a nice day Zack" I replied.

"Uh, Zack do you know of any cheap but affordable hotels around here?" Maria asked.

"Yeah I actually know of one, it's called Aria Resort and casino" Zack answered.

"I think I can find the location in my car GPS." I responded, to Zack and the others.

"Thank you so much Zack." Maria thanked, smiling at him.

Why is she smiling at him like that?

"Okay, we have to go Zack thanks a lot for the help." I spoke dismissively.

"Hope to see you soon Zack." Maria remarked seductively.

"Hope to see you too very soon..." He pause.

"Maria, my name is Maria Rodriguez." she told him while smiling.

"Oh, Hope to see you soon Maria" he said winking at her.

I need to stop this now...

"Maria that's enough we have to go now remember we have to go to a hotel before it gets dark." I exclaimed.

She turned her gaze to look at me and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, bye Zack." she bedded waving at him.

"Bye, beautiful." Zack responded and blew a kiss to Maria.

I quickly drove off.

"Jason slow down or you'll kill us all." Maria advised,  her hands on her headrest.

"Jason, slow down!!" Lola yelled, causing me to stop the car immediately.

Maria's head flew forward, when the car stopped and she hit her head.

"Maria, are you okay? Are y'all okay back there?" I asked worriedly.

"Yeah we fine, Maria are you okay?" Adam asked.

I glanced at Maria, her head is still on the dashboard. I slowly moved her head from the dashboard and laid her body back on the chair.

Shit! 

She has blood on her forehead.

"Oh my Gosh...Jason look what you've done." Carla gasped, covering her mouth.

"Do y'all guys have a bottle of water?" I asked.

"Yeah I do." Lola replied, handing a bottle of water to me.

"Thanks." I responded and sprinkled little droplets of water on Maria's face.

She slowly opened her eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Ben can you please drive?" I told to Ben.

"Sure buddy." he replied.

I walked out of the car and took Maria in my arms bridal style out of the car to the back sit. Ben and Adam got out of the car through the other side and went to sit in the front sits. I slowly laid Maria down in the back sit and sat next to her, closing the door shut.

"Maria are you okay?" Carla asked.

"My head hurts, but I'm fine." she replied.

"Come here lay your head on me." I suggested, my hands wide open for her to embrace me in a warm cuddle.

She smiled at me and laid her head on my chest wrapping her hands around my waist.

"Dude we almost there." Ben informed, maneuvering the steering wheel.

"We're here in Aria Resort." Ben announced. "Wow! it's beautiful."

This place is so beautiful....

"Let's go guys it's already 16:00." I responded. We all went inside the resort and we walked towards the receptionist.

"Hello, beautiful may I please get six rooms for each of us." I requested.  I heard someone chuckle behind me, I turned to see Maria just shaking her head at me and I just smiled.

"Mmm, sorry sir we don't have six rooms available for you right now." she informed. 

Now where are we all going to stay?

"How many rooms do you have right now?" I inquired.

"Only two." she responded.

"Guys they only have two rooms." I informed.

"We can share the rooms right." Adam suggested.

"Beautiful, how many beds do you have in those two rooms?" I asked.

"Well the first room we have has only one king size bed, the other one has two bedrooms, and in those bedrooms they have two beds each." she explained, occasionally glancing at her computer screen.

"Guys, is that okay with y'all?" I asked them again.

"Well yea, Carla and I can sleep in one room, while Ben and Adam can sleep in another room and you two can sleep in the king size bed in the other room." Lola sorted, smirking at Maria and I.

"What!, no I can't sleep in the same bed has Jason." Maria interjected, breathing heavily.

"We'll take the rooms how much will it be?" I asked.

I just want Maria to be alright.

She doesn't look okay to me, the blood on her forehead has dried up now.

"That would be $800 dollars please." she requested.

I gave her my credit card.

"Here are your room keys, hope you have a wonderful stay here." she said, smiling at me. 

"Thank you ..." I paused.

"Samantha, my name is Samantha Perkins." she informed, handing my credit card back to me.

"Beautiful, just like your name." I remarked,  taking her hand and kissing it and she instantly blushed.

"Maria!, Maria!" I heard yelling I turned to see Ben holding Maria's head.

"What happened, let's take her to our room?" I said, I took Maria from Ben and carried her bridal style. We entered the elevator and Lola pressed the 12th floor.

We walked out of the elevator and walked directly went to our rooms.

"Y'all go to your rooms, I'll take care of Maria." I responded.

"Are you sure Jason, we can help you. You don't have to do everything alone." Ben reassured, laying a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm sure don't worry I can handle her we've been best friends for years I know her very well." I admitted. "You guys go make sure you get some rest because at 20:00 tonight it's going down at the club." I reminded, chuckling at my last sentence.

"Okay buddy." Ben replied, smiling at me.

I walked inside our room....

Wow! It's so beautiful...

I walked to the bedroom.... and damn the bed looks amazing....

I laid Maria on the bed and  walked to the bathroom, to get a cloth. I dipped the cloth in water....

Wow! Even the faucet looks so beautiful.

I walked back in our bedroom and placed the cloth on Maria's forehead. I took a glass of water from the fridge in the kitchen, sprinkling little droplets of water on her face. She shook her head slightly and opened her eyes.

"Are you okay, do you want some water?" I asked, she just nodded in response, I gave her the glass of water I held in my hand.

"Where are the others?" she asked looking around.

"They in their rooms." I replied.

"Oh, are we here alone?" she questioned, looking at me intensely.

"Yeah we are, but if you don't want me here then that's fine, just say the word and I will leave." I responded.

"No please don't leave you're the only person I trust, please stay here with me." she confessed.

"Okay I will and I need you to rest that beautiful head of yours because at 20:00 we all going clubbing, so I need your battery's fully charged." I told her, pinching her cheek a little and she smiled.

"Okay, but the fake ID's." she inquired.

"Don't worry about that you just rest, okay." I kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes, instantly falling asleep.

I dressed the wound on her forehead, and also went inside the bed and laid next to her.

I can't wait for tonight.... I have a feeling it's gonna be the night of my entire life.
