Chapter 8 Jade

Amy

I tried to hold back my tears but damn it was so fucking hard, my voice turned hoarse immediately 

“Is this the explanation you wanted to give me?” 

“Amy I…..”

I shouldn't have expected anything from a bad boy like him, 

“Amy look, I still wanted you to be my best friend I still wanted you to be my mate it's just that I can't give you that loyalty you want”

“Okay….” I nodded my head and wiped my tears,

“If you want us to be best friends then of course we will continue to be best friends” 

“Amy, are you serious, does that mean we are cool now?” 

“Hmm, sure” I said in a crack voice, 

“I'll be with the guys” I said to him and left immediately, I walked to where Dante stood with the others

“Princess?” Zack called, I need to cry else this emotions might drive me crazy, I ran into Zack arms hugging him so tight as I cried out my heart, 

“Princess what's wrong I thought you guys were just talking”

“He said he wanted to be just friends!” I told them amidst tears and bursted into another round of tears, 

“That motherfucker!” Dante groaned and made to charge towards Jade but I pulled him back

“Let him be, it's his life after all no one can force him” 

“Guys” Jade called us as he walked close to us

“Jade, are you dumb or something? Why can you man up and accept your responsibility huh?” Dell charged at him

“Come on bro we already talked” 

“Talked? You called making her cry a talk? I just hope you don't regret your selfish decision when you see her with someone else” Dell said and glared at him

“Let's go guys” Dell gestured to us

“Bro, you know we don't play about Amy, the next time she's crying because of you I swear I'm punching you for real” Zack said to him and left

“Seriously bro, friends? I hope you know she has another mate, she's not gonna wait on you forever” Dante said to him and took me away. We all get into the car and began to drive home, 

The drive was silent, as I was looking out through the window lost in thought. 

“We are here” Dante's voice snapped me back to reality 

“Ohh” I muttered, Dante walked to my car door and opened it for me, he held my hand and helped me to come down from the car but then I was surprised to see Nile standing beside a black SUV

“Isn't that your other mate?” Zack whispered to me

“Hmm” I nodded

“His face kind of looks familiar” Dell sighed and shook his head in thought

“Exactly bro, why do I feel like I've seen him before” Dante added

“Princess, what do you know about him?” Dell asked 

“Nothing, only his name”

“Huh?” The three of them gasped in shock

“Ohh I also know he likes some of the rappers I like”

“Come on princess that's not what we mean” Dante groan

“Princess you need to know things about him, why do I feel that he's some mysterious and weird guy” 

“Amy?” Nile called and began to walk towards me, 

“Nile” I waved at him smiling, I won't deny that my heartbeat increased at the sight of him. I felt this attraction pulling me to him, I don't know if it's the wolf bond, but I don't think it's bad.

A car suddenly halted in front of us and I was surprised when Jade came out of the car, 

“Amy what's going on here?” He asked walked to us

“Jade, have you been following us?” Dell asked him

“Fuck, that's not important why is he here?” Jade pointed at Nile who's now staring at him with blazing eyes and they looked like they want to devour each other 

“I'm here to see my mate unlike you that's so obsessed with your Badboy lifestyle” Nile said nonchalantly 

“What did you just say?!” Jade roared and tried to pounce on Nile but Dell and Dante held him back while Nile stepped back, 

“Yoo, you guys should let me punch this motherfucker, listen Nile you mysterious asshole think you can hide everything about you but I know every damn shit you're hiding and I'm not gonna let you destroy my Amy with your filthy life” Jade said to him. 

To say I'm confused is an understatement, why is Jade and Nile acting like they know each other so well, and what is Jade talking about? These guys are hella confusing me like shit right now.

“Amy?” Zack called 

“Hmm” 

“You can go with him, but listen Nile, I'm only allowing my princess to go with you because it's your right and it's hers too, you both are mates and should get to know eachother but if I ever find out your fucking messing with our princess then you better run, cause I won't rest till I haunt you down, you better cherish her and know she has protectors like us”

“Sure bro thank you so much” Nile said warmly

“Wait, are you guys going to let him take Amy?” Jade asked ruffling his hair in frustration 

“Amy, do you want to go with him?” Dell asked me, I turned and stared at Nile

“Just for a walk around your neighborhood” He muttered in assurance 

“Hmm” I nodded at Dell

“Alright princess, he's your mate too, we can't stop you” Dante said to me and gestured for me to go with Nile, 

“Here” Nile stretched out his palm for me to hold onto, I smiled and slowly placed my palm on his and he intertwined our hands together, Jade walked to his car and drove off in anger, causing dust to evoke from the ground, 

“Bye guys!” I said goodbye to my best friends as I watched them drive away till their cars were out of sight. 

“So where should we go?” He asked with a smile

“I can take you around my neighborhood”

“Sure” He nodded with smiles as we begin the stroll

“You already know a lot about me even where I lived but I don't know anything about you”

“Ohh, is that so” He muttered slowly and I nodded

“I'm not from Westwood Pack”

“Huh?” I gasp in surprise 

“Are you surprised?”

“Hmm” I nodded 

“If you're not from Westwood Pack then that night?”

“Ohh, I was just driving by, when I saw you alone at the bus station, at first I didn't know you were my mate I just decide to talk to the lonely girl sitting at the bus station but as I came down from my car, I smelled you” 

“Were you happy when you discovered we were mates?”

“Trust me I fell in love with you immediately” 

I looked at him and he looked so sincere while saying it.

We got to the busy part of my neighborhood where they sell alot of things and I saw the necklace I've always wanted to buy, I couldn't stop staring at it, 

“You like them?” Nile asked

“Oh no let's just go” I tried to drag him away but he held me back

“Wrap it for us” He said to the seller and paid immediately, 

“You shouldn't have……” I said calmly, he smile as the seller gave him the necklace, 

“Should I wear it for you?” 

“Hmm” I nodded with smiles. Nile is about 6 feet while I'm struggling to reach 5 feet. He's crazily handsome with his nose piercing and it's hard for me to look away, I still don't understand why Nile is not a bad boy because he has the looks and everything, but then I remembered I know nothing about him.

“All done” He said and I look down at my chest and the necklace rested perfectly on me, 

“Thank you” 

“You're welcome” 

“So tell me what's the name of your pack?” 

“Hmm can I tell you that the next time we meet?” 

I didn't know why he's hesitant to tell me now, but we are going to meet again so it's fine. We got to the front of my house and stopped

“Can I give you a good night kiss on your forehead?” 

I smiled and nodded, he pulled closer and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead, 

“Goodnight” He whispered, I watched as he turned around and walked to his car, I waved him goodbye as he drove off.

I got into the house and madey way upstairs to my room, everywhere was suddenly dark and I can't remember turning off the light, I searched for the switch on the wall and turned on the light

“Shit…!” I screamed out in shock seeing a shadow sat on my bed with his head bent, 

He slowly raised his head and I was shocked to see it's Jade.

“Jade?” I called holding onto my fast beating heart, he slowly stood up and without saying a word he began to advance towards me
