Chapter 7 The race

Zack pulled me into his arms, hugging me so tight, 

“Enough bro it's my turn” Dante dragged Zack and pulled me into his arms, I couldn't help but smile, they always know how to make me feel special 

“Enough you're taking too long” Dell pulled me away from Dante

“Yoo!” Dante yelled, I smiled and looked at them

“Why are you guys here?” I asked them. Zack suddenly came to my side and wrapped his left arm around my shoulder, 

“Our princess was absent from school today, and we missed her so bad, so we want to take you out and cheer you up and don't worry Jade is not going to be there” 

I looked at Dante and Dell and they both nodded their heads

“So shall we?” Dante asked as he held the car door open for me, I nodded and entered the car, and he closed the door.

I was riding with Dante and his car was in the middle, so Dell's car was the first to drive off while Dante was the second and Zack was the last one behind us. 

“So where are you guys taking me to?” I asked Dante relaxing on the car seat

“It's a secret” He winked, I smiled and nodded enjoying the drive. 

“We are here” Dante's voice jolted back to reality and I looked up to see where we are, 

“A racetrack…..!” I shouted in excitement and jumped out of the car, I've always wanted to come to this place, I've always admired racers when I see them on the tv

“Yessss….!” I shouted happily running around while they all stood and watched me in amusement. A while later I was surprised when a race car drive by and stopped in front of them, a man whom I think is a staff came down from the car and handed some keys to Zack

“Here's the key sir” The man said with a bowl. I walked towards them in confusion

“Zack, how do you get to know the staff?” 

“Princess, actually Zack's parents owned this place” Dante leaned on Zack's shoulder smiling,

“Ohhh” I nodded. I guess these friends of mine are much richer than I thought, what else do I expect from top guys like them, I guess I'm lucky to have them.

“Come on princess let's give you a ride” Dante said happily and took my hand as we walk to the race car, 

“But who's going to be driving us?” I turned to ask them

“Over to you bro” Zack threw the key at Dell who caught it immediately 

“Dell?” I asked in shock

“You might not know this but Dell is a racer” Dante whispered to me

“Huh?” I gasped unbelievably 

“He's the masked racer you've always admired” Zacked said with a wink shocking me, at this point I couldn't believe my ears, I looked at Dell and he smiled at me confirming my doubts, wait…..does it mean all these while I've been a big fan of Dell not knowing he's the racer I've always wanted to meet to think that he's the reason I fell in love with car racers,

We all got into the car, I was in the front seat with Dell while Dante and Zack sat at the back seat, 

“Princess your seatbelt” Dell said and pulled closer as he helped me wore my seatbelt, I watched as he put on his helmet and Dante was right he looked exactly like the masked racer that I admire, 

Dell is so handsome and him being a racer made him exceptionally attractive, I watched his wear his seatbelt, and how he did everything smoothly is so fucking charming, now who wouldn't love such a seductive racer.

“Are you guys ready?” Dell's voice brought me back to reality 

“Princess are you ready?” Zack asked

“Yessss, let's hit the road!” I changed excitedly 

“Yesss!” Dante and Zack yelled as Dell drove off in massive speed, he opened the roof of the car and the wind was so crazy, 

We turned on the music and kept vibing to the songs while we enjoyed the ride, it was so fun that I finally forgot I was sad and confused hours ago, now I’m filled with laughter and happiness, 

“We love you princess!” Dante yelled

“I love you guys too!” I yelled back, we couldn't control our smiles, I was filled with so much happiness and was lucky I had friends like them in my life, people to share my worry, my good moments with. 

After almost one hour of driving we finally came down from car and the staff rushed to us with bottles of cold water, 

“Thanks” I said as I took it from him, 

“Let me open it for you'' Dell said gently and took the bottled water from me, and open it

“Thanks” I smiled and took it from him, I gulped down almost half of the water, and damn! It feels good.

“What else do you want to do?” Dell asked 

“Hmmm, I'm hungry” I muttered touching my tummy

“Then we will visit the most luxurious restaurant just leave it to us” Zack said out loud, Dante smiled and shook his head

“Dramatic” Dell sighed

“Let's go” I said to them, we were about to make our way to their cars when I heard my name

“Amy?” I heard that voice that I'll recognise even in my dream, the only voice that can get me weak in the knees, 

I slowly turned and saw him, standing and looking as handsome as ever, his two hands tucked into his pant pocket, his jet black hair neatly packed in a ponytail, but then I noticed the dark circles under his eyes, I also noticed I've been staring too much

“Hmm, hmm” I cleared my throat 

“Thought you guys said he's not going to be here”

“Jade, what are you doing here?”

“You haven't been picking my calls, I needed to talk to you, I haven't even explained myself yet” 

“I'm sorry I just don't want to talk to you yet” I said to him and tried to leave but Zack held me back

“Princess I think you should hear him out, we will be waiting for you, let's go guys” 

“If he messes up I'm going to punch him” Dante said to me, and winked before the left with Zack

“Hear him out,” Dell smiled and left.

I sighed waiting for Jade to talk

“Amy I'm sorry I didn't tell you when I found out you were my mate, I didn't want to drag you into my crazy lifestyle”

“Hmm, okay” I nodded

“And now that I already found out I'm your mate, what are you going to do about it?”

“That's the fucked up shit, I'm so messed up that I don't even know what I want” He groaned ruffling his hair

“What do you mean?” 

“Amy I know I want you as my mate, but I'm sorry I can't give up my free lifestyle just to date only you, I can't”
