BLIND DATE

“What is it this time, Helen?” I groaned as I stared at her through the FaceTime we were on. For a reason, she ended up drunk and had a serious hangover.

She knew she fell sick after getting drunk and should drink lightly, but went ahead to get super drunk. This was the fifth time my phone has been ringing with her calls.

“I asked June to send in some files to you this morning. And it was one from Gavin.” As she said his name, my hand that was hovering over the iPad which was before me stopped. “About the custody he requested the other day.”

I started to search for the file on my table and soon found it. Forcing the cover open, I could see the heading. He was freaking serious about this custody shit.
