GAVIN'S POV

CHANNELLING THE WITCH: THROUGH LOGAN'S DREAMS

As I pulled up the gravel driveway to my mother’s mansion, I couldn’t shake the promise I had made to Logan.

I was supposed to come back, just like I said I would. But as I opened the front door, I was greeted by an unexpected sight.

The dining room was filled with the warm glow and the aroma of a home-cooked meal drifted through the air.

At the table, my mother sat with her usual elegance, flanked by the kids who were eagerly digging into their food.

But it wasn’t the sight of my children that made me pause, it was Ciara, who sat across from my mother, laughing and chatting as though she belonged there.

My kids, upon seeing me, instantly left their meals behind and rushed to hug me.

Their joyous shrieks cut through my confusion, and I forced a smile as I knelt to embrace them. “Daddy!” they cried, their little arms wrapping around me.

“She's here again, daddy.” Logan complained, looking towards Ciara. He didn't like her and I

GAVIN'S POVCHANNELLING THE WITCH: THROUGH LOGAN'S DREAMS PART 2I must have drifted off to sleep without realising it. I’d been waiting, listening for Logan’s scream, my body tense with expectation, but exhaustion finally won.It wasn’t until the sound of his terrified voice pierced the quiet night that I snapped awake.“Daddy!” His scream cut through the darkness, full of fear.I bolted from the bed in the spare room, my heart pounding in my chest. Being so close to his room, I was there in an instant. The sight that greeted me nearly broke me. Logan sat up in his bed, tears streaming down his face, his small body trembling beneath the covers.Without thinking, I wrapped him in my arms, pulling him close. “Hey, hey, I’m here. I’m right here,” I whispered, trying to calm him. “Look at me.”He looked up, his tear-filled eyes meeting mine. He was trying to be brave, he always was, but whatever he was seeing in his dreams had shaken him to his core.“You’re okay, buddy. You’re safe,” I

IRIS'S POVVISITING JUNEIt was another day, and I was still in the blue moon pack. As much as I wanted to leave and see the kids and also Gavin. I couldn't leave just yet. There was still a lot to do around the pack.“Good morning, Alpha Iris.” Leon greeted, he walked into the room with Rhys as I and Helen had breakfast.“Morning to you two. Any updates.” I asked, looking into their direction as I dropped down my cutleries.“We came to update you on the questioning of the guards who had been stationed outside the spies' quarters yesterday night when they died.” Leon said“Go ahead.”“The guards insisted they hadn’t seen anyone enter the quarters. According to them, they had been alert all night.”I furrowed my brows. “That's all?”“That's all they told us. But we think that the spies poisoned themselves.” Rhys explained.Helen and I gazed at each other for a moment. Her face was etched with confusion and so was I.“Why?” I muttered to myself. I couldn't think of any possible reasons

CIARA'S POVBAD INTENTIONSI woke up early and headed to Gavin's bedroom to see if he was still there. But the room was empty."Daddy's not here. What are you doing in his room?" Lyra’s soft voice startled me from behind.I placed a hand over my chest, my eyes widening slightly."I know that, you little rascal. But why are *you* awake at this hour?" I replied, my voice laced with mild irritation.Lyra shrugged, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she shuffled closer. "I couldn’t sleep. I thought maybe you were with Daddy."I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Well, he’s not here, and you should be in bed. It’s too early for both of us to be up."She tilted her head, looking up at me with curious early eyes. "Where did Daddy go?"I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to tell her. "I don't know, okay? I finally said. "Stop asking me questions. Now, go back to bed."I rolled my eyes. “Iris’s kids are so annoying.” I muttered to myself.Lyra frowned but turned and padded back down the hal

IRIS'S POVBITCH VISITAs much as I wanted to head back home, I couldn’t resist my mum’s request to visit her. No matter how much I wanted to, I couldn’t change my mind. We were almost at the Green family house now."Why do you look so pale?" Helen asked, glancing at me through the rearview mirror as she navigated the straight road ahead."I'm just tired, Helen," I replied, trying to sound casual."You could’ve told your mother you didn’t feel up to it," she said."You know I can’t say no to that woman," I sighed, running my fingers through my hair."Of course, your favourite parent," Helen teased with a smirk.I managed a small smile, but the tension inside me lingered.Helen chuckled softly, her eyes still on the road. "She really has you wrapped around her finger.""Tell me about it," I muttered, leaning my head back against the seat. As much as I loved my mum, visits like this always came with a mix of guilt and pressure. She had a way of pulling me in, making it impossible to ref

GAVIN'S POVTHE SEARCHJerry and I had been trudging through the forest for what felt like hours, driven by the hope that Logan’s dream mansion actually existed.Logan had described it as a dark, haunted place encircled by high walls, and despite the murky gloom of the forest around us, we pressed on.We’d made our way through rough terrain and thick underbrush, each step a struggle through the tangled mess of nature.Eventually, we found ourselves in a particularly dense part of the woods. The trees grew closer together, and the path became barely discernible. I could see the weariness in Jerry’s eyes; he was clearly exhausted."Sir Gavin," he said, his voice heavy with doubt, "what if this mansion is just a figment of Logan’s imagination? What if it isn’t real?"His words struck a chord with me. It was a possibility I’d been trying to push out of my mind.If the mansion was indeed real, it was our only chance to find the witch and settle the rift between us. But if it wasn’t... I ha

IRIS'S POVIT CAN'T BE TRUEHelen and I arrived at my mansion, tension hanging in the air like a storm waiting to break. Only heaven knew what Ciara’s true intentions were. Her visiting my house could only mean trouble.“If that bitch tries anything, she’ll regret it,” Helen muttered, her fists clenched tightly at her sides as we made our way inside.I didn’t disagree. Ciara had better be prepared if she came here looking for a fight. Maybe she had already caught wind of my wedding plans with Gavin, and it burned her up inside. After all, she had never liked the fact that Gavin was madly in love with me.“Where is she?” I asked the maid as we entered, my voice calm but sharp.“She’s in the living room, ma’am,” the maid replied, looking a little uneasy. She had no reason to worry. I wasn’t about to fire her for letting Ciara into my house. The real issue was the woman waiting for me beyond the door.We stepped into the living room, and there she was—Ciara, rising to her feet with an ai

IRIS'S POVS.O.S“Have some red wine,” Helen offered, handing me a glass and pulling me from my spiralling thoughts.Despite her attempt to distract me, I couldn’t shake what Ciara had said. Doubts about Gavin swirled in my mind, was it possible he truly didn’t have the power to shift into his wolf form?I took a sip, the rich flavor lingering on my tongue as I stared out at the moonlight with Helen beside me. “I don’t know what came over me, letting that bitch get in my head,” I admitted, frustrated with myself.“It’s not your fault,” Helen said gently, her fingers tracing the rim of her glass. “You were curious to hear what she had to say. So was I.”“What she said shouldn't bother you, unless you believe her.” Helen said, her eyes not leaving me until I gave her her reply.I hesitated, swirling the wine in my glass, watching the deep red liquid catch the light. "I don’t want to believe her," I finally said, my voice soft. "But the truth is, I’ve never seen Gavin shift. Not once."H

IRIS'S POV ALONE RESCUER Without wasting another second in the house, I was already in the car, driving towards the address that Gavin had sent to me. I didn't know what I was going to be expecting once I got there but I certainly had a lot of questions for Gavin. At 120 kilometres per hour, I’d reach there sooner. I still couldn’t believe I was doing this, heading out alone at this time of night. Helen was too drunk to come along, and I couldn’t risk bringing her. I was almost there, nearing the address. But the GPS showed I was approaching a forest. A forest? What on earth would Gavin and Jerry be doing in a place like this? I questioned myself as I drove ahead, not caring that danger might be lurking around. The trees loomed closer, their dark silhouettes blending into the night, casting long shadows across the road. The forest seemed to swallow the narrow path ahead, its thick canopy blocking out the moonlight. My headlights cut through the gloom, but even then, visibility

*NO POV* HAPPY EVER AFTER The next morning dawned clear and bright, the warmth of sunlight filling the hospital room where Gavin’s mother, Mrs. Russell, lay resting. Gavin, Iris, and the kids entered, greeted by her gentle smile. Lyra and Logan rushed to their grandmother’s side, their laughter filling the room as they shared stories of their bravery, their voices animated and full of life. Mrs. Russell’s laughter was a soft sound, joyful and content as she listened to her grandchildren, her heart brimming with pride and relief. Iris watched the scene with a smile, holding Gavin’s hand as they stood by. It was a moment of family, of love, and of hope, one she’d longed for but hadn’t allowed herself to truly believe could happen. And now, it was here. The threat of Tyler was gone, and they could finally start to heal, to rebuild, and to look forward without the shadow of fear hanging over them. Just as they were leaving the hospital, Iris’s phone buzzed, and she saw her father’s

GAVIN'S POV BATTLE WON Night had come and the moon shone on the war ground. It was cool and dark, and the clearing was quiet before the storm. Iris and I alongside Iris's father, took our wolf forms, our muscles tense, eyes gleaming with fury and determination. Tyler’s rogue wolves surrounded us, an overwhelming number against only three, but that didn’t matter. We were here to end this, and they would do it together. Tyler, towering and ruthless, commanded his wolves forward, sneering with a dark pleasure as the ambush ensued. The fight was brutal, claws tearing into flesh, growls echoing through the trees, and the thick scent of blood filling the air. Each wolf knew their place in this battle, and none were willing to give an inch. Iris fought with the strength of every wrong she’d suffered, every harm Tyler had caused. She had only just discovered that this twisted man was her stepbrother, a revelation that was almost incomprehensible. But the bond of blood didn’t erase his

JERRY'S POV SAVED The dim corridors seemed endless, but Helen and I kept moving, pushing through each door, each obstacle, with only one thought in our minds—finding Lyra and Logan. The scent trail was faint but clear enough for us to follow, mixed with the reek of rogues we’d taken down along the way. My hands were still shaking from adrenaline as we moved swiftly through this maze, hearts pounding. Just then, we caught sight of a room ahead, voices muffled behind the thick door. I motioned for Helen to stay quiet as we moved closer, pressing my ear against the door. I heard a voice, shrill and taunting, and my blood ran cold as it registered. It couldn’t be… Ciara. She was supposed to be dead, lost in the flames at the station. Yet, there she was, alive, and from the sound of it, taking pleasure in tormenting Gavin’s kids. My jaw clenched, a mix of rage and shock roiling inside me. “Jerry… is that…?” Helen’s voice was barely a whisper, her expression as horrified as mine. “Y

GAVIN'S POV The walls of the cell pressed in on me, cold and unyielding, as Jerry and I worked tirelessly to remove the device clamped around our necks. Every time I twisted my fingers around its edges, a fresh surge of anger rushed through me, fueling me to keep trying even though the damn thing wouldn’t budge. I needed to get to Iris and the kids. I couldn’t stand the thought of them in danger, held somewhere in this hellish place by people who’d already done so much damage. Jerry, sweating and grimacing, glanced at me, and I could see the same desperation in his eyes. “We’ve got to get these off if we’re going to get anywhere.” “Tell me something I don’t know,” I muttered, forcing another yank at the device. My mind raced, trying to figure out how I’d get to Iris, how we’d find Logan and Lyra. The thought of Ciara, of her twisted satisfaction if she succeeded in hurting them, made my fists clench until my knuckles ached. Suddenly, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed down th

IRIS'S POV MY STEPBROTHER IS THE DEVIL The sharp sting of pain sliced through my head as I staggered forward, clutching the back of my skull where a rogue’s first had landed hard. My vision swam, but I forced myself to stay focused. I had to get to Logan and Lyra. I’d seen Ciara pulling them toward a waiting car, but this ambush by her pack of rogues was forcing me into a fight, wasting precious seconds. I planted my feet, fists raised, and fought back. With each punch, kick, and dodge, the fiery need to protect my children fueled my every move. One of the rogues lunged at me, but I ducked and drove my fist into his ribs, hearing him grunt in pain. But there were too many of them. I knew I couldn’t last long. Just as I managed to kick another rogue back, I heard someone calling my name. My blood ran cold as I glanced over my shoulder, spotting my father. He’d followed me, and now he was calling out, looking stunned to see me in this fight. For a heartbeat, I was caught off guard

IRIS'S POV CIARA'S NOT DEAD As I pulled away from the hospital, the fleeting moments of joy faded, replaced by a creeping sense of unease. Just as I rounded the corner toward the ice cream shop, a familiar car pulled into the hospital parking lot. My heart sank as I recognized my father’s imposing figure stepping out of the vehicle. He spotted me immediately, his face set in that stern expression I knew all too well. The last thing I wanted right now was to deal with him, not when I was finally trying to focus on my kids and my own peace of mind. I took a deep breath, willing myself to stay calm as he approached. “Iris!” he called, his voice cutting through the air like a knife. I hesitated, my grip tightening on the steering wheel. I didn’t want to hear what he had to say. I knew it would only lead to discussions about the pack, expectations, and everything I was trying to escape. “Dad, I really don’t have time right now,” I replied, trying to keep my tone steady. “This is impor

IRIS'S POV GRANDMA'S IS WELL AGAIN I gripped the steering wheel tightly, my knuckles white as I navigated the winding roads leading to the hospital. Lyra and Logan chartered excitedly in the backseat, their youthful energy a stark contrast to the heaviness in my heart. As much as I tried to focus on their laughter, my mind was consumed with worry for Gavin, Helen, and Jerry. The morning sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow inside the car, but I felt none of its warmth. My fingers tapped anxiously against the leather of the steering wheel as I tried to push away the nagging thoughts swirling in my mind. They should have answered by now. Where were they? Had they found Helen? With each passing moment, my anxiety deepened. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. I had insisted that Gavin stay behind to focus on the search for Helen, but I had a sinking feeling that he was in danger, too. The thought of anything happening to him made my stomach

HELEN'S POV FIESTY LITTLE HELEN As I was pulled down the hallway, I turned back, my eyes searching for a glimpse of my friends. “Gavin! Jerry!” I shouted, straining against the rogue’s grip. “Don’t worry about me! I’ll find a way out!” But the rogues only tightened their hold, their expressions cold and unfeeling. “Save your breath,” one of them sneered. “You’ll need it for later.” We turned a corner, and the corridor opened up into a lavishly appointed bedroom, a stark contrast to the sterile environment I had just left. The walls were draped in deep crimson, adorned with elaborate tapestries that seemed to watch me as I was thrust inside. The plush furnishings and decadent decor felt like a mockery of the grim reality I faced. The Boss stepped in behind me, his presence suffocating as he surveyed the room. “Welcome to my humble abode, Helen,” he said, his voice low and smooth. “I trust you’ll find it… comfortable.” I fought against the rogues as they pushed me forward, fear cl

The Boss's gaze was piercing, and his smile seemed to carry the weight of impending doom. I could feel every heartbeat echoing in my ears, a reminder that I had to remain resolute, even as fear threatened to wrap around my throat like a vice. "What do you want from me?" I asked, forcing my voice to remain steady despite the tremor in my hands. The Boss stepped closer, his presence looming like a shadow stretching across the floor. "You are here because I have an interest in your little pack and Luna's precious alliances. You see, Helen, it’s not just about capturing Iris. It’s about breaking her spirit, dismantling everything she holds dear." His tone was smooth, almost persuasive, as if he believed I would crumble under his words. I shook my head, anger flaring within me. "You’re wrong if you think you can use me to get to her. You don't know her at all. She
