DANGER IN THE PACK

Iris' POV

Jane got shot.

Helen ran out of the mansion and immediately sprang into action, her heart racing as she rushed to Jane's side. "Oh no, Jane! Oh God, no!" she exclaimed, scooping up her limp body in her arms. I spun around, scanning the area frantically for any sign of the shooter, but there was no time. Jane's eyes fluttered closed, and her head lolled back, a crimson stain spreading across her shoulder.

"Jane, stay with me!" I begged, my voice trembling as I rushed alongside Helen. "Don't close your eyes, stay awake!"

Helen hastened towards the mansion, her breath coming in ragged gasps. "We need to get her inside, now!" she yelled, bursting through the doors.

I followed close behind, my eyes darting wildly around the room. "Where's the first aid kit? We need to stop the bleeding!"
