GAVIN
ONE NIGHT IS ALL IT TAKES In one of my expensive and luxurious presidential suites, I sat at a corner, staring at the bed where a slim figure lay across the bed, her outline evident in the dark room. The black evening gown she was wearing was still intact and I could feel that she was awake, staring right at the ceiling with her hands placed on her stomach. Her long blonde hair was spread across the bed and as the moonlight shone on it, it reflected back. “Are you sure you want this?” I asked her in a calm voice. As I said these words, she raised herself from the bed, staring in my direction. “Do you think I'll be here if I'm not sure I want this? And who knew I would discover something new.” I could see a smile on her lips but I wasn't even bothered about it. Placing the glass in my hand on the table before me, I stood up and started to pull out the buttons in my shirt. “Strip.” I ordered in a cold tone. She knelt on the bed, slowly pulling off the straps of her dress, revealing her beautiful and delicate body. She wore nothing but a strapless bra and her panties and the beautiful figure of her body could be seen. Without a word, I grabbed her face, pulling her into a hungry kiss and she kissed me back with equal hunger as she pulled my already unbuttoned shirt off and her hands headed towards my trousers. Before she could get to it, I grabbed her hands, pulled my belt off with the other and then tied her hands with the belt. My silence and action was enough to tell her I want nothing interfering with my moment and she just complied, softly moaning as I kissed her neck down to her body. I pinned her to the bed, straddling her as I made my way down to satisfy myself with her body and she answered to me just as I wanted. * The ray of sunlight slowly hit my face as I opened my eyes, staring at the high ceiling. I felt a head on my chest which made me look down and I could see the blonde beauty still asleep on my chest but I didn't care. I pushed her off my body, swinging my feet to the floor. This action woke her and I could hear her groaning as she stretched lazily. “That was a nice night, don't you think, Gavin?” Her soft and delicate voice floated to my ears but I just ignored her, walking into the bathroom to have a shower. I returned to the room to find her dressed in my shirt, her gown in her hand. “There's no spare clothes for me so I borrowed your shirt.” She flashed me a bright smile and her intoxicating scent mixed with roses filled my nostrils again. I never thought I would meet my mate in a one night stand experience with one of my interns. I wondered how I have missed that detail since all these days but that was the least of my concern now. I walked over to the table, took out my chequebook and scribbled something on it before handing it over to her. She looked at me in confusion as she read the content with her. “Why are you giving me five million dollars? Is something wrong?” She asked, her tone failing to hide her panic and confusion. “Leave.” I ordered plainly before walking towards the closet to get dressed and by the time I returned to the room, she was seated on the bed, dressed in her black dress from last night. “I don't understand what you're trying to say, Gavin. I am your mate. Our wolves confirmed it and you're not going to act on our mate bond?” She stood up to walk over to me but a single glare from me stopped her from inching closer. “You might be my mate, Iris. But I am not interested in you.” I replied coldly, walking past her. “And besides, I don't eat the same food twice.” * I sat behind my desk looking down at the pile of paperwork before me. A frustrated groan escaped my lips as I stood from my seat, looking out the glass window behind my table at the lake behind the house. It had been months since I saw Iris and she lingered in my mind and I didn't exactly know why. It wasn't like I was in love with her or anything. I just wanted to have a night with someone who wouldn't let the whole world know about it unlike those other female dogs. “She's our mate, of course you will feel attracted to her.” My wolf said lazily in my head. “You didn't even bother breaking the mate bond.” “It doesn't matter, Gray.” I rolled my eyes. “It’s not like I believe in any of those mate bond stuff anyway.” “And you seriously run a whole pack and encountered your mate over ten months ago? Despite the gap, you still can't get her out of your mind and you still don't believe? I have no remark.” Gray said dramatically in my mind but I just ignored him, walking over to the mini bar in my office and poured myself a glass of wine. A groan of frustration escaped my lips again as I tried hard not to throw a fist into the wall before me. Despite always thinking about her, I hadn't bothered looking for her after my assistant, Jerry, told me she left the company without completing the internship she was here for. “Why do I care?” I mumbled before gulping down the entire content in the cup before letting out a satisfied sigh. Of course, I cared but my pride won't let me go after a woman after pushing her away and not caring to look for her these past months. I've never done such a thing in my entire life. “You're just too prideful…” “Shut it, Gray. Why don't you go look for her and plead instead.” I snapped at him with a frown before heading back to my seat to drown myself in work again. It wasn't like I had anything better to do than to just oversee everything in this pack. A sound from my iPad made me look towards it and I could see a video call coming in. I answered the call, I heard a pitched scream of my name. “Gavin Russell.” My mother said, staring daggers at me. “Luna Russell, how may I help you?” I asked in a sarcastic tone, leaning into my chair to stare back at her. “You do not by any chance think I am growing younger as days go by, Gavin, do you?” She asked and I could already tell you what she was about to rant on about. “I should at least have gotten a grandchild from all the women you've been sleeping around with.” “Impossible.” I replied nonchalantly, looking at the paper in my hand. “Gavin…” Suddenly my doors was pushed open and Jerry was standing there with a worried look on his face. “I'll speak to you later, mother.” I hung up, looking back at Jerry with a raised brow. “There's a huge issue, my alpha.” He said, a maid walking in with a basket and from the basket, he picked a note, handing it over to me. “Here's your dessert then.” The note read and looking into the basket, I could see it. Who was crazy enough to put a baby in a basket?IRISBACK IN TOWN“Damn you.” I tried my best not to curse out loud in front of my little cutie but that was the last straw. “Iris calm down.” My mother patted my back gently but I just pushed her hand off my shoulders. “Lyra is scared seeing you this way.”I looked down at Lyra who was staring at me with ber blue eyes filled with tears. I let out a breath before pulling her into a hug. “It's okay sweetheart. I'm just frustrated.” I patted her head gently. Those fools, they should have at least told me the plane won't be ready in time for my departure and now I have to go take the commercial plane. “Tell Helen to book a last minute flight back to Silver Moon.” I said to my secretary who nodded gently before walking away. “You should learn to control your anger in front of Lyra, Iris. Or she would be scared of you.” My mother said from where she sat. “I am her mother, mother. She loves me no matter what and you can tell yourself.” I said, pointing at the girl who was already wrappi
GAVINWHO IS MY MOTHER?“Logan Russell.” I called, pulling the curtains to his room open. All I heard from his was a groan as he tossed under his covers. “We agreed on you waking up early today, didn't we?” “But dad...” His little voice of protest came from under the sheets as he pulled it away from his face. “Your grandmother is here.” I said calmly and he sprang out of bed, heading out of the room in full speed. “Get back here you brat and brush your teeth.” The boy just ignored me, rushing out of the room to head to my mother who was serving breakfast downstairs. She had made it her weekend duties to come over and take care of Logan on the weekends and I was grateful for that because the little boy could be a handful sometimes. I watched as he hugged my mother before running back up the stairs, I guess to prepare for the day because she won't allow him to eat without a proper bath. His maid bowed as she walked past me to help him prepare for the day. “Have you found her yet?”
GAVIN FACE TO FACEI watched as Logan walked off from me after we arrived at the gala. He had seen my expression after asking the question so he didn't demand an answer from me. “Mr Russell.” A feminine voice pulled me out of my state where I was staring at Logan who walked off to meet othe kids. “It's nice to see you here.” Felicia flashed me a bright smile as she tried grabbing my hand but I pulled my hand away from her with a frown and she just chuckled gently. “Still the cautious young man I guess. Let the kids be and let's get something to refresh ourselves before the gala.” Felicia suggested. Felicia had always tried her best to get close to me these past years but I haven't given her that chance and Logan equally was disgusted by her presence so she was careful not to approach me when he was around me because he didn't mind saying what he felt about her while pretending to be respectful so he wouldn't get a scolding from me. “Excuse me.” I mumbled before walking past her a
IRIS GET MARRIED? I didn't know how to feel as he said those words but one thing was sure. What I was feeling right now was irritation and rage. How dare he come now and tell me this nonsense?! “You know what, Gavin. You're so full of yourself. Yes, you might have my son with you and he would know already that I'm his mother, but it has nothing to do with you. Five years ago, you rejected me and I've got my pride as a woman.” I said through gritted teeth before turning to walk away, but he grabbed my arm firmly before I could leave. “Please, Iris. Don't act this way…” “What way?”I asked already feeling irritated. I tried to keep my voice in check so I wouldn't cause a scene here. A scandal was the last thing I wanted for the Green family right now. “I am just acting like a reasonable woman would actually act.” Yanking my hand free from his grip, I walked over to Logan and Lyra where they were both standing and talking to each other. My heart swelled with joy as I watc
IRIS.HAPPY WITH HER TWIN“Married?” I raised a brow while looking at all of them. “Who came up with this foolish suggestion?” “Isn’t it enough that you had a child for a man we do not know? It is against the family's rules and I don't see why you should have been made the head of the family in the first place…”“Do you want to continue with your position as the family head? Because I would gladly take you, if I have to, to get away from this ridiculousness you all are basking in, father-.” I replied sarcastically, obviously livid. “You need to listen to me, Iris.” He slammed his fist against the table which irritated me more than I already was irritated. “As the family head, you have to sacrifice a lot of things. Whether you like it or not, you have to get married. The advisors would give to you those we have settled the deal with…”Before he could go any further, I stood up and walked out of the room. I heard them calling after me but I've just had enough. “I'll talk to her.” I he
GAVINYOU JUST WAIT!I could see the change in her expression when I brought up our twin's custody. I didn't know what to expect, but I had to try my luck anyway. I didn't want her to disappear from me again, I missed her but I can't show any affection so this is the best option.“What do you mean by our children's custody?” She asked with a raised brow. “Whatever it is your motives are, Gavin, know that I'm not going to dance to your tone.” “What a shame. You haven't even listened to me, Iris.” I chuckled briefly, leaning my chin against my knuckles. “It might be beneficial for not only you and me but the two of them also.”Hearing this, she leaned back in her chair with her arms folded across her chest but she was staring daggers at me from across the table. I had to admit one thing, and that was that she looked dang hot with her fierce look. “We are not sure whether Logan knows Lyra is his sister yet, but it's only a matter of time before he realizes that. I mean, she's the perfe
GAVIN. THE RUSSEL BLOODThe loud music in the club filled my entire senses as I headed towards the rooftop which was a bit quiet compared to the noise downstairs. When Jerry told me he would be opening his club, I didn't expect it to be a damn huge club with a beautiful hotel right inside the building. “Thanks for coming,” Jerry said as I walked towards him immediately I got to the rooftop. It's been a while since I saw him this free since he was always busy with work.“It's fine.” I patted his shoulder gently.Walking over to the bar, I ordered a drink while looking around. It was the VIP floor and the strippers were there and those who serve men were busy going from one man to another. It's just something one would expect from Jerry. “Gavin.” A feminine voice called out to me and I turned to see her walking in my direction. “Felicia.” I mumbled as she stopped before me. “I haven't seen you since graduation, Alpha.” She chuckled, handing me the glass the bartender had pushed to
IRIS.BLIND DATE“What is it this time, Helen?” I groaned as I stared at her through the FaceTime we were on. For a reason, she ended up drunk and had a serious hangover. She knew she fell sick after getting drunk and should drink lightly, but went ahead to get super drunk. This was the fifth time my phone has been ringing with her calls. “I asked June to send in some files to you this morning. And it was one from Gavin.” As she said his name, my hand that was hovering over the iPad which was before me stopped. “About the custody he requested the other day.” I started to search for the file on my table and soon found it. Forcing the cover open, I could see the heading. He was freaking serious about this custody shit. I haven't been a good mother to Logan and I don't think I'm ready to face him right now and admit the fact that I am his mother to him. How would he look at me? For all these five years, I just left him without a mother figure in his life, just because I wanted to get
