"Girl, you're crazy!"
Ariana let out a soft laugh as she noticed the look of utter disbelief on her friend, Laila's face. Laila stared at her friend like there were horns growing out of her head. She moved closer to the edge of the bed where Andrea sat. "I cannot believe that you are the one actually saying this!"
"Well..I was just thinking that it was high time I made a move, a leap of faith or something like that." Ariana started shyly. Her brown eyes boring into Laila's own, begging for a sign of validation, maybe begging for any sign at all. "You know that I'm not really the flirty type and you know how much the mere thought of a roleplay and cosplay kinda kinks cringes me the fuck out.. I'm honestly very nervous."
"I know..I know!" Laila squealed even more, completely paying zero attention to Ariana's nervousness. Not that she loved Ariana any less or she did not care about her, she was just too engrossed in what Ariana had said earlier. "Tell me everything, what you are going to do and do not dare leave out any details."
Ariana broke her eye contact with Laila and took in a deep breath as she tried to steady her nerves. She couldn't understand why she was suddenly so tense, she could hear the sound of her heartbeat.
"So.." Ariana began slowly, intentionally taking her time as she knew fully well how impatient Laila was. Laila remained calm and was surprisedly patient, though her face said otherwise and revealed how she could hardly contain her excitement. "You know Lawrence has a thing for superheroes right?"
"Yes.. that's why you guys only watch superhero movies whenever you both go to see a movie."
"Exactly! He loves it so much, I don't even don't know why he's obsessed with it." Ariana complained with a slight frown evident on her face. She and Lawrence have never seen a romantic movie together or even just a normal romcom, thriller, action, horror or anything at all besides superhero movies. She recalled one time when she was riding the bus home and she overheard the kids behind her arguing about superheroes, she had to fight her inner demons not to chirp in on their conversation and look like some weird lady who has forgotten that she's too old for such conversation, just because she had seen almost if not all the superhero movies ever made and that was all thanks to Lawrence, her fiance.
"Hey!" Laila snapped her fingers impatiently, drawing Ariana attention back to the matter at hand and reality. "Back to earth little miss cosplay, you still haven't given me the full gist of everything."
"Okay fine fine, here's what I'm thinking," Ariana started again, her voice gaining confidence with each word. "Lawrence has a thing for superheroes, especially Batman. He's so damn crazy for Batman, he literally has every collection or anything at all that relates to Batman. He even calls his room the Bat cave." She paused, shook her head and let out a small laugh before she continued. "So I thought, why not surprise him by dressing up as Catwoman?"
Laila's eyes widened in delight, her hands flew to her mouth as she stared at Ariana. "Who are you and what have you done to my friend?" It felt like she was just meeting the person before her for the very first time.
"Hi I'm a new and improved version of your dear best friend, nice to meet you." Ariana said playfully, stretching out her right hand for a handshake.
"Well hello new and improved version of my best friend, nice to meet you too!" Laila responded with a laugh as she shook hands with Andrea.
"But I'm a little worried that the plan might not work."
"What? Your idea is beautiful, brilliant, magnificent..is there any other word to use to describe it?"
"Perfect?"
"Yes baby, just perfect. Oh my goodness, it's so brilliant!"
"You think so?"
"Do I think so? I don't think so, I know so! He is going to absolutely love it."
"You think he will love it?"
"Trust me, he will." Laila nodded excitedly, personally she knew how much men loved when their women dressed up just for them and not just any type of dress up, they loved it when the ladies dressed up just the way they liked it.
"The truth is," There was a sad and distant look in Ariana's eyes, she let out a long sigh before she continued. "We have become so comfortable with each other that it's now suffocating. Sometimes it feels like we are both just familiar strangers about to get married."
"Oh my God.." Laila murmured and wrapped her hands around Ariana as she pulled her in for a warm embrace.
"It's so hard." She blinked repeatedly, trying to fight the tears stinging her eyes and threatening to fall out. It had started out slowly, one canceled date turned to two and then three and then holiday plans were canceled, too busy with work, too busy to take calls or return them. At first it was hard but they had both gotten too comfortable with the bridge and gap in their relationship that it ended up becoming the usual norm.
"Everything is going to be fine, you just have to be strong. You both used to be such love birds, but you both also had your careers to pursue that doesn't mean that Lawrence no longer loves you. He loves you more than life itself."
"Laila, you do not seem to understand," Ariana freed herself from the hug and locked eye contact with Laila. "The spark is gone."
"Spark? What spark?"
"We no longer do it." Ariana said in an almost whisper, her eyes darting anywhere but Laila's.
"Do what?" Laila asked mischievously, feigning the beautiful art of innocent cluelessness. She knew how shy Ariana could get and she wanted to just taunt her a little to brighten up her already ruined mood.
"Come on Laila," She eyed Laila suspiciously, her eyes scanning Laila's face for a sign of mischief. She noticed the twinkle in her eyes and how she was fighting hard to hold in her smile.
"I honestly have zero idea of what you're talking about."
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. I can't remember the last time we did it, even when we actually did it which has been so long, it was really boring. It felt more like a chore, like some kind of responsibility."
Laila burst out laughing, unable to contain herself any longer. Ariana's serious expression was too much for her to handle. "Oh, Ariana, you crack me up!" Laila said between giggles. "I thought you were talking about something serious, but you're just referring to…sex. So all of this is because someone is horny?" Ariana blushed deeply, feeling embarrassed and exposed. Her face was as red as a lobster. "Yeah, I know it sounds silly, but it's true. Our physical connection has gone down the drain, and I miss the hot passion we used to have." Laila's laughter subsided, and she took Ariana's hands in hers, her expression turned serious, she understood how much Ariana loved Lawrence. "Look girl, relationships go through ups and downs, and it's completely normal to experience lulls in intimacy. But that doesn't mean the spark is gone forever. You and Lawrence just need to find a way to reignite it. You understand me right? Get freaky tonight baby girl." Ariana sighed, her gaze fixed on the
Ariana's heart pounded in her chest as she stumbled into the dimly lit club, seeking solace in the embrace of anonymity and the haze of alcohol. The weight of her emotions bore down on her, urging her to drown her sorrows in drink, desperate to numb the pain that consumed her. The flashing lights and pounding music provided a temporary relief from her disturbed and scattered thoughts, but deep down, she knew it was only a temporary escape. How could Lawrence betray her? After everything they have been through together? She could not seem to be able to wrap her head around it. She had turned off her phone on her way to the club, knowing fully well that Laila would call her to know how good their plan had gone. She knew that if she ended up informing Laila about what had happened in Lawrence's house, Laila would ensure that Lawrence and whoever was on the bed with him wish they were dead. "Hey baby girl. Meow meow Catwoman, how about you get a little feisty for Daddy?"Her gaze fell u
Ariana blushed, feeling a mixture of flattery and nostalgia at George words. It had been years since they had last seen each other, and the sudden reunion felt surreal. She couldn't help but notice the subtle shift in George's demeanor, and the flirty look in his eyes didn't go unnoticed."Thank you, George," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of shyness. "You're looking good too. It's incredible to see you after all this time. Do you work here?""No I don't.""Well, earlier when you kicked out that pervert, I honestly thought you were a bouncer.""Good God no.""You have really changed George."George chuckled, his smile widening. "Yeah, life has taken some unexpected turns since high school. But it's great to reconnect with old friends. So, what brings you here tonight?"Ariana took a deep breath, contemplating how much to reveal. She didn't want to burden George with her personal issues, but she also didn't want to dismiss the chance to confide in someone who seemed genuinel
"Just touch me,’ Ariana whined, arching impatiently against his hand. George couldn’t make either of them wait any longer. Slowly, he brought his middle finger down and slid it gently over her folds. threw her head back. "God, yes. Keep going.’ He did it again, this time his fingertip slipping between and gathering her wetness. He parted her with two fingers and found her clit, rubbing it in small circles. She cried out against his lips, and was lost. The taste of her, the smell of her, the feel of her so close against him, skin to skin. As soon as she felt that first spurt, she began to rock forward against his hand. Ethan pulled away slightly from her, only enough to slip his finger out of her vagina but leaving her hanging precariously by a thin line of precome at the end of her sex. She whimpered as he slowly withdrew his finger. She didn’t want him to stop. Not yet. Not yet.She wanted him there inside of her, filling her up completely, filling her with his seed, filling every
Ariana nodded shakily. Her whole body shuddered when his breath brushed across her lips, and she closed her eyes and tilted her head back in a silent invitation. He kissed her, letting his tongue slide against hers. She moaned against his mouth and opened for him, allowing him access to her mouth. He broke the kiss and started kissing and licking every part of her face, tasting her salty perspiration and warm, slick flesh on his tongue before moving upwards to kiss her ear. He nibbled her earlobe teasingly before continuing his journey upward, kissing and licking every inch of skin he could reach until he was kissing along the length of her neck.He stopped briefly before returning back to his previous task. He heard her soft moan as he trailed kisses up to her jaw, then down the column of her neck. He paused just below her collar bone before trailing his tongue along her breastbone to her belly button. She squirmed underneath him, her breathing quickening. She ran her hands down his
Ariana's body revolted against her, wrenching and convulsing as she felt the familiar churning in her stomach. The sickness overwhelmed her, and she stumbled towards the bathroom, barely making it in time before her insides rebelled. Tears mingled with bile as she knelt on the cold tiles, she could no longer shake off the persistent feeling that something was amiss. She couldn't ignore the subtle changes in her body any longer. Fatigue had settled in, and her breasts had become more tender and sensitive. A nagging suspicion began to take hold of her thoughts but she refused to accept it."Hey kiddo, you good?" Ariana's elder sister, Elizabeth asked, her face was laced with worry and concern."I think so." Ariana responded weakly, struggling to get back on her feet and clean the vomit on the floor."Hey I got you kiddo, Go lay on the bed and by the way, Laila's on her way here"Ariana nodded and mouthed the word 'Thank you.' The past few weeks had been so hard for her, coupled with the
Ariana nodded, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. She knew that she needed to protect herself from the judgment and complications that her current environment brought. She had endured enough pain and heartache, and now it was time for a fresh start, especially since her ex, Lawrence had been stalking her since their break up. At first he had gone around spreading rumors she was the one caught cheating and she had called off the engagement because of the guilt, but later on he began stalking her, constantly texting her on every social media platform, begging for another chance. She remembered one time when she ran into him at the mall."Ariana!" he had called out, his voice filled with desperation as he hurriedly approached her in the busy mall. She felt her heart race with a mix of fear and anger, but she mustered up the courage to face him. "What do you want, Lawrence?" she asked, her voice laced with determination.Lawrence took a step closer, his face pleading. "Please, Ariana, ju
Ariana's heart skipped a beat as she hurriedly packed up her belongings, glancing at the clock ticking away precious minutes. She had been caught up in a crucial meeting with a client, and now she was on the verge of being late to pick up Sydney from school. Her assistant followed Ariana outside the meeting room to get more instructions from her. Ariana knew that her daughter was just like her, she didn't like to be kept waiting. There had even been a time when her daughter had given her the cold treatment because she had been late for their Friday daughter and mother night."Ariana, don't worry, I'll take care of everything here," her assistant reassured her, sensing the urgency in Andrea's voice. "You go ahead and pick up Sydney. I'll handle any follow-ups and make sure the team is on track." Ariana let out a sigh of relief, grateful for her assistant's competence and support. "Thanks, Zoey. You're a lifesaver. I owe you one."Zoey grinned mischievously. "Oh, you owe me more than o
Dear Beloved Readers,If you're reading this, it means you've stuck with me through every twist, turn and terribly crafted joke that I've dared to type and send your way. For that, I owe you a universe of thanks or at the very least, a coffee if we ever meet anywhere beyond our various screens.Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when you've spent so much time in a world that exists somewhere between reality and the imagination. We've been through a lot together, haven't we? We've faced dragons (metaphorically, more like we watched the characters face dragons…hehe, evil laugh..), dived deep into the deep end of human emotions and emerged on the other side with our hearts strangely full, if not a bit bruised. But fear not, dear readers, for this is not the end. It's merely a pause, a deep breath before we dive back into the pain of creation. I come bearing news of a sequel, a new adventure that demands to be told, focusing on our beloved characters Thomas and Laila. Yes, you read
They stood apart, breathing heavily, circling each other like predators. The outcome was uncertain, both men pushed to their limits, neither willing to back down. But after several long moments of this standoff, something finally snapped.George’s arms suddenly came flying into motion, one after the other delivering blows to Antonio’s unprotected sides. Antonio dropped his blade in response, clutching at the wounds he had received. When he recovered, he threw himself at George, intent on revenge. George, knowing this would only escalate, stepped forward, blocking Antonio’s path, and retaliated by driving his elbow into Antonio’s stomach.Antonio doubled over, coughing as he gasped for air. He tried to recover quickly, but when he tried to rise, George lashed out again, his fist connecting with Antonio’s face. George seized the knife from his belt and hurled it with all his strength at Antonio’s head. But his aim was off, the weapon clattering uselessly off the walls behind Antonio’s n
Laila and Daniel moved through the warehouse's maze-like interior with a silently but there was urgency in their steps, their path was illuminated only by the occasional shaft of moonlight that pierced the grimy windows. The air was thick with the smell of a machinery long silent and every step seemed to echo in the vast emptiness. They hadn't gone far when the first sign of trouble presented itself, not as a sound, but as a sudden shift in the air, a tension that prickled the hairs at the back of Laila's neck. She raised a hand, signaling Daniel to stop."Looks like the welcoming committee finally noticed us," Laila murmured with her eyes scanning the darkness for any movement.Daniel sighed in frustration of the delay and quipped, "Do you think they're upset we didn't RSVP?"Before Laila could reply, shadows moved from the darkness, and it turned into the forms of Antonio's guards. They were fewer than the ones George and Alec had faced, but their intent was no less deadly. The firs
In the dimly lit confines of a small, makeshift cell within the warehouse, Ariana, Zoey, and Daniel's little son, The little boy, huddled together. The air was stale, heavy with the weight of uncertainty, but Ariana's arms around the children were a fortress, her resolve a beacon in the gloom. The little boy, no more than four years old, clung to Ariana, his small frame trembling. Zoey, though trying to mask her fear, kept a vigilant watch over The little boy, her protective instincts as fierce as any guard outside their door."It's going to be okay, little boy," Ariana whispered, her voice a soothing melody in the harshness of their reality. "Your daddy and Uncle George are coming for us. They're like... superheroes, you know?"The little boy's eyes, wide and filled with the innocence of youth, looked up at Ariana. "Like... like Batman?" he asked, a quiver in his voice.Zoey smiled, despite the fear gnawing at her heart. "Exactly like Batman. But cooler. Your dad is like... Batman an
Under the veil or one could say the protection of a night sky, the air was very thick with anticipation and worry, George and his companions which consisted of Laila, Alec and Daniel, that is after George had convinced his mother to stay behind, they stood before the old warehouse, the stronghold of their nemesis, Antonio. The night was eerily quiet, the kind of silence that was before a storm, a fitting backdrop for the fear that was brewing in their hearts. George, Laila, Daniel, and Alec had drove through the underbelly of the city, they had been guided by Daniel and the information they had gotten from George's ex and also by the whispers of hope and the relentless beating of their own hearts and now they found themselves at the middle of a rescue mission that seemed both daring and desperate. The warehouse loomed before them, an evidence of forgotten industry, its silhouette a serious opposite against the night sky and its shadow loomed.Laila's gaze was steely and her determin
George settled into his study and sipped his bourbon, the taste reminding him of Ariana. They hadn't been together since she got pregnant and had Sydney. George knew he couldn't wait for her to return, not when he'd seen what kind of person he was whenever he was around her. He knew that Ariana would understand why he had acted the way he did, because he did love her. He had always loved her, even though he always did like hated her more than anything else in the world.George knew deep down that there was no way that he could ever stop loving Ariana. He just hoped that she wouldn't leave him when he would finally be able to rescue her from where Antonio had kidnapped her and was keeping her."Son?" Mrs Alexander called softly as she stepped into his study. She looked around before she saw him sitting behind his desk. His office wasn't very bright, he preferred to keep the blinds closed so he could read in peace when he studied, especially at night."Yes mother?" His voice sounded ro
"Do you like that?" She breathed heavily. He looked at her and then looked at her pussy and then back at her.He smiled. "I didn't know you knew how to use wine bottles like this one."“This is one of my favourites too.”"Is this what you normally do before sex? I mean do you have sex often?"She shrugged. "I usually use a lot of lubricant but this is the way I like it. I'm so wet for you baby.""I'm sure you are, Go on eat and continue drinking, this night is going to be wild. You'll be sorry you came here once I'm done fucking you up." George said sexily.I'm sure you are, Go on eat and continue drinking, this night is going to be wild. You'll be sorry you came here once I'm done fucking you up." George said sexily. He was now looking very proud of himself."You mean you'll be sorry, I'll be sorry, I won't regret coming here." She smirked, knowing exactly what was about to happen. She had already started having the desire to see the look on his face once he made love to her."Eat fi
Her egoistic nature fueled her belief that she held a certain allure, a charm that could manipulate those around her. The evening held the promise of satisfaction for Jamie — the satisfaction of knowing that both Antonio and George might fall under the spell she intended to cast. With a final glance in the mirror, she left her home, confident in her ability to come out triumphant of any complexities that the evening would present. She had to be honest with herself, her whole family had hated her when she had not been able to maintain she and George's marriage but now she was ready to get him back and make him hers. She began to think of how many siblings she would give her daughter. She rolled her eyes as she thought of Antonio, he had been the whole reason why her marriage had failed. She had been sleeping with him and when she had found out she was pregnant, she had told him and he had asked her to get rid of the child. She remembered how she had convinced her mom to set her up on
The morning sun cast a soft glow through the windows of George's mansion as he dialed Jamie's number, with an air of uncertainty lingering in his voice. After a few rings, Jamie answered, her voice was a distant echo through the phone."Jamie, it's George. Can we talk? There's something important I want to discuss," George began, the weight of his recent tribulations evident in his tone.Jamie, on the other end, hesitated before responding, "What's this about, George? We don't exactly have a history of smooth conversations."George took a deep breath, the gravity of his words carrying through the phone line. "I miss you, Jamie. I miss us. Can we meet? There's something I need to tell you in person."A pause ensued, the silence stretching as Jamie absorbed his words. Finally, she sighed, "Fine, George. I'll come over. But this better not be some elaborate scheme or a waste of my time."Relief and anticipation mingled in George's voice as he responded, "Thank you, Jamie. I appreciate it
