Missing mates

SUMMER

We were supposed to leave for the human city today. I'd been eagerly awaiting the date they promised me, too excited to think of anything else. Different scenarios went through my head as I tried to imagine how the day would go. Which was why I rose early this morning. I didn't take the sleeping drugs they left for me, opting to fight with my demons today if it meant I got to wake up early for the date.

Mr Lover didn't call in the evening of that day as he promised, but I woke up the next morning to the horror of my life. Hanging on the seal of the window of my room was a dead man.

My mates had to change my room after that because I couldn't even step foot in it without thinking of the horrible scene. They assured me we would change houses after they settled everything, and I couldn't wait for that.

I didn't tell them of the message I got and they didn't ask, not that they knew what they would ask about. They were yet to tell me what they discussed with Jeremy, which was why
