Even though I had only known Gypsy for a short period, I was lost without her.
She always had something to say, someone that I could reason with when I needed it most and just someone who kept me focussed. Without her, I was completely alone.
As each moment passed, the fear in me grew and I made sure to stay with Alpha Zach the entire time. He mostly had work to do and was often hunched over paperwork at his desk but it made me look at him differently.
Max had always fought against his Alpha life, determined not to be the Alpha he was set to be but Zach lived and breathed the life style. He trained hard, was always talking to his pack, improving things at the local school and even offering his help to nearby packs, even if it did come with a price.
His dark eyes look up at me every so often and I wondered if he was trying to work out what was happening with me or if he was genuinely interested in me. He had not said another word

Charlies POVI could scent Max before the others could and held up my hand to them, Josh wasted no time in climbing out the window and as Max opened the door, his eyes were firmly set on me. Alpha Max’s POVAfter I leave, I head outside and sit on the steps when a Lycan comes running up to me “A wolf by the name of Kiwi is here, she is demading to see you”“Send her in, she is my sister”The Lycan shakes his head at me “Alpha Zach has not informed us that she is invited. Unfortunately until then she is not allowed on the property”“What?!”I had told Zach that Kiwi would be joining us, why would he have not told his warriors to expect her?The warrior shrugs his shoulders and I follow him towards the gates where Kiwi was arguing with another warrior about how they were being disrespectful but when she sees me, she stops and shoots me a smile.It had been a while since I had seen Kiwi, and after everything she had done in the past, including finding out that she was my long lost triplet sister, we had actually grown closer, almost as close as Alexander and I were.

Alpha Zach’s POVKayden was a good fighter and not in the least bit concerned that he was fighting his Alpha.I only just managed to grab him as he made a second attempt to attack Charlie. Charlie’s POV“Will she be happy to see me?” I ask Max as I pull my seatbelt on“Honestly, I am not sure. She was pretty pissed off with you for rejecting me”Maybe it was a bad idea, maybe we should turn back now, but as we roll up to the gates, the warriors glare at us. Max tells them that Alpha Zach had given permission for us to head into town and see Kiwi. Strangely they let us through without even questioning us but they continue to give me dirty looks and I press myself into the seat, wishing myself to disappear from view. Alpha Max’s POVKiwi sits on the back seat with Charlie, they don’t speak and Charlie lies down, resting her head on Kiwis lap. I wish I could hear what she was thinking like I used to be able too.It was an odd feeling, seeing how close they were, Charlie had spent time with Kiwi long before she came here. Alpha Zach’s POVThat high pitched scream echoed out across the grounds, I am certain I see the trees recoil under the pressure and as I watch the others crumble to the ground, it does nothing to me, just like before.As I move towards her, it is almost like her scream steps up a gear and I am positive it may have even reached the human town.Reaching out towards her, she takes another step back before turning and running as she realises the scream is not affecting me like it was the others.The only option was to shift, I was quickest as my Lycan. A couple of days had passed, and Charlie trained with Matthew every second she could, even when he told her to rest, she wouldn’t, or she couldn’t sit still. She was determined to succeed.He trained her mentally and physically but would not tell me what was involved. She had accepted her role as mine and the packs Luna, it was the only way for everyone to communicate with her, particularly Matthew and she needed all the help he could offer.Her sisters had not restored her hearing or sight yet because they needed to be certain that Charlie could hold the block and at the moment it was Jett and me. Hey everyone, I hope you are all well and I want to thank you so much for reading up until now, I really appreciate it and it keeps me motivated to write.
