“I won’t forgive you for this, Denzel, you have proven you are contaminated blood,”

Armiz scowled with his hands stained in blood, sending a death-glare in my direction as I stood unaffected.

He was utterly outraged, must be hating to the core but here I was, standing like none of it mattered to me.

“I did what I considered right, Armiz,”

“What…?”

Taken aback at my response, his hands lost their strength with a retreating step.

After taking a moment to contemplate my words, his body relaxed.

“If that's what you believe is right then here, in this very moment, I swear on my life,”

He suppressed his unbearable grief and returned a glare that became the initiator of our eternal resentment.

“I will ensure you suffer miserably, Denzel Reynolds,”

“Fuck,”

Gasping inaudibly, I found myself back in my room from that nightmarish moment that disturbed me to the core.
