Chapter 99: The Appointed Alpha King

I was thankful that after my wedding with Alpha Gideon, he allowed me to go back to my cabin. He has made up his mind and he doesn't want to sleep with me, which is a favor for me. I don't want to sleep with a monster, but there's a problem. Gideon asked Calvin and Natalia to watch me.

There are so many warriors assigned to watch the cabin just to make sure I won't escape. Gideon is really insane.

“How are you?”

I lifted my head when I heard Cassandra. I just came out of the room, and it's already ten in the morning. She was carrying Jacob and I couldn't help but let out a deep breath.

“I don't know and until now, I still can't believe that James left us,” I uttered, and tears were about to fall when we heard knocks at the door.

Cassandra and I stared at each other. I let out a deep sigh and walked towards the door. Calvin is the one knocking at the door. I just rolled my eyes when I met him.

“Gideon wanted to talk to you in his office,” Calvin said, which made me smile
