I lifted my head, eyes were still on her.

“Don't say that. Nobody will die here and not even you. Just remember that your son needs you, and we have to keep fighting for them,” I uttered in my serious tone.

Katie nodded her head as tears kept falling from her eyes. She was still looking at me.
