I froze in my direction as I heard what Gideon just said. He's looking at me intently, eyes flickering with amusement. I could feel my hands clenched tightly as my eyes were still looking at him.

‘F*ck him!’ Lilian snaps as if she wanted to attack Gideon.

I took a deep breath, calming myself down.

“Okay, I'm willing to be your slave once you were able to capture that mysterious man and bring him to me,” I uttered to him, and his smirk widened.

Gideon crossed his arms, studying me closely. I don't know, but I got really hooked about that mysterious man. There's something deep down that I wanted to know who he is. He killed Calvin.

I was curious to find out his face under the hoodie jacket he's wearing.

“Why do you look so interested in him, Emerald?” Gideon asked, looking so confused.
