“Who killed him?”

I was stunned in my direction, mouth widened when Gideon turned his head at me. I met his gaze and shrugged my shoulders.

“I have no idea and the only thing I know, Calvin went to the forest to chase the intruder here last night. Someone entered your territory, Alpha Gideon,” I responded, and he gritted his teeth.

His jaw clenched while looking at me.

‘I just hope he won't blame us!’ Lilian said at the back of my head.

I let out a silent sigh without breaking my eyes to Gideon. I wanted to know his reaction to my explanation.

“Someone dares to enter my territory?” Gideon uttered, his voice threatening.

A smirk forms on my lips as I look at him deep in his eyes. This is my moment to ridicule him.

“I thought you're strong?” I muttered, making him turn his head at me.

Gideon's lips form into a grin. “Of course, I'm still strong and no one can beat me down.”
