Gideon let go of me when he suddenly heard knocks from the door. He glared at me, eyes fuming with anger.

“You're coming with me tonight and if you dare to disobey me again, I promise I will never let you go once more!” Gideon exclaimed.

He walked through the door and all I did was to look at him with my teeth gritted. I just felt my blood boiling and the urge to kill him was already in my heart.

‘Patience, Emerald… That man will die in our hands soon,’ Lilian uttered at the back of my head.

I took a deep breath, holding the neck that Gideon choked earlier. My eyes started to darken when I remembered that devil face.

‘I don't know until when I can control my patience with that bastard. My life was almost living hell with him every day!’ I blurted, and my wolf just let out a sigh.

‘I know what you feel, but we have no choice. We need enough strength to escape from him!’ Lilian responded, and I just nodded my head.

I left his office without trying to look for Gideon. I do
