108 A Chat With Dinah

I couldn't believe William had gone on his mission without his talisman. I knew it was an honest mistake but this wasn't the time to be making such mistakes. I was glad that the mages were around to perform a cleansing. If not, only God knew what would have happened.

Learning about Nifrem brought chills to my spine. I immediately decided to leave William and Jasper with the mages and go to chat with Dinah on the matter. This was no longer a human-only problem. It was a spillover of her world. I was confident she would shed some light on the matter.

"Where are you going darling?" William asked as I was heading out.

" I need to lie down," I told him, unwilling to tell him what I intended to do. I didn't feel comfortable telling him anything until after the cleansing just in case the parasitic god had latched on one of them, it wouldn't be on to me. He smiled, and I walked out.
