Alexander gawped at me, the realisation of what our mother has said settling in to his brain, “You what?” and he lunged across the floor at me but he was too slow and I had already manoeuvred myself from the seat. It seemed that he had completely missed the information that our father had shared.
Charlie was an Alpha Luna hybrid, a very rare occurrence for it to happen but sometimes they would never choose a mate. The problem with that is it leaves all of us that are mated to her losing our minds if she doesn’t choose.
For the first time in my life, I actually wanted a mate and I wanted Charlie but I knew Alexander will do everything he can to make sure she chooses him. Alexander stands in an attack position. “Did you not hear what they said? It is not up to us!”

Thank you so much for reading everyone, I really appreciate it and would be grateful for any reviews or feedback. I have really enjoyed writing this book and loved every moment of it, but the story is far from over and book two will be coming out soon following Charlie’s quest in finding her hybrid mother and discovering what happens with Alpha Zach as well as what it means to be Queen of the Lycans. Does Charlie find her way back to Max or does she choose Alpha Zach? Will Max stand by his vow? Only time will tell.
My Alpha (Book One) Chapter Seventy-seven
Max’s POVDamon’s pack had retreated, many had lost their lives from both packs and as the survivors helped the worst wounded, I started to look for Charlie. She was nowhere to be seen along with Alpha Zach, some of the guards inform me that she went inside the packhouse.Entering the house, there was a lot of commotion and I follow the sound to the bedroom Kiwi was being locked in. Charlie’s POV The fight continues and yet I still have not seen my father, he would be easy to spot as he looks exactly like me. The Lycans were mostly dark colours when shifted and were easy to spot, a little difficult to figure out who was fighting who but my father was definitely not among them which made me anxious. Alpha Zach links me “Have you seen Damon?” The main idea with me staying higher up and in the centre was because I would be the only one to recognise his Lycan a jet black wolf exactly like myself. “No, not yet” “Keep looking” and he drops the link. Charlie’s POVI couldn’t think, I couldn’t eat and I barely slept.
