*Angelina's POV*After I talked with my father I was a bit disappointed because my father didn't listen to my request even though I had already gone as far as to beg him to help Kivvi. He was stubborn not to listen and not to help Kivvi with the war he was fighting. There is also Stella who was still being imprisoned by Jasper. It suffocated me more. That night, I was the only one who was able to escape. She lost her chance to escape just because of me. But I have got no lead on how to free her yet.Damn it!“So let me guess your father didn’t agree on helping, Angelina?” Arianna asked as I got back from the room with a frustrated expression on my face.“Damn it! I don’t know what to do anymore!” I said to myself in frustration as I recalled the coldness of Kivvi’s body when I held him in my arms after he was stabbed by Jasper with wolfsbane. He seemed lifeless for a moment, and I felt my heart to stop at that moment. I can't make it happen for real. I need to do anything to help Kivv
*Arianna's POV* After learning what had happened to Angelina, I became more cautious and concerned. I was surprised to learn about how she was imprisoned by her own father and now I am currently concerned about how to free her. What is she doing or rather thinking about at the moment? I'm sure that she's annoyed and helpless as a result of what her father did. And, she should be trying her best to cook up some plans, like me. Understanding Angelina's personality being caged won't be a hindrance to letting herself save Kivvi, the person she loves. She will also do anything to save him, even if it means getting hurt while attempting to escape from the cage. And, I must stop from making it happen. This is why I have decided to free her from her confinement. I don't want to see my best friend get hurt or unhappy any longer. Angelina will finally have the happiness she deserves after all of the difficulties she had faced all in her life. I want to see my best friend happy in her life, eve
Angelina POVWho would help me out when everyone is afraid of disobeying my father, the Alpha of the pack? And, most people have no idea about my situation at all. They only know that the Alpha is disciplining his daughter. Who is aware of my painstaking moments, which are eating me alive? Also, they would be sent early to their graves if they let me escape and I am certain that no one wants to be sent early to their graves unless they have serious depression.“Even if no one will come and save me I need to get out and escape from here. Kivvi needs me right now!” I said to myself, assuring myself that I could come up with plans to escape.I slowly stood up and started to punch the hard iron in front of me even though all I could feel was just pain. I just endured the pain and continued what I was doing. Just you wait Kivvi, I will surely get out of here and find a cure for the wolfsbane and cure you with it.Just wait, okay? Wait for me, please. After twenty minutes of repeated punche
*Angelina's POV*I will take back about what I said to Arianna about it being easy, but yes it’s very hard to find this stupid oldest mountain called OLD, why did they name it like that? I mean this name is so simple to remember but too hard to find. I have already visited dozens of mountains and places that were located on the map but they were not the mountains that I was looking for.“Damn it! Is this the first challenge that I should achieve before finding the cure?” I complained to myself as I realized that this was the first challenge that I must overcome.I slapped both of my cheeks to wake me up and to make sure that I remained focused. “Fine! Let's do this. You can do this, Angelina! Just think of Kivvi! He is waiting for me!” I said to myself. After that, I seriously looked for the mountains without complaining and I didn't know when half an hour had passed. Finally, I have got clues about the oldest mountain called OLD. I got clues from several trekkers, who seemed experien
Angelina POV“Both of you stop fighting with each other, you are scaring the lady!” Another voice had spoken and it was like a calm wind had cleared my thoughts.Maybe these voices are not ghosts or anything but just an illusion, a test for me to overcome. I closed my eyes and cleared all my thoughts inside my mind as I started to relax myself. After a few minutes of letting myself relax, I slowly opened my eyes. As I looked in front of me I was surprised at the first thing I saw when my vision cleared.“Ah, Wolves?!”Well, there were five giant wolves in front of me who were staring through me. They were all in the center of the lake surrounding the divine tree in the center.“Oh, you finally saw them? You took a long time to see,” Tiara said all of a sudden. She appeared at my side looking at me with an annoyed expression.“Shut up! Who are those wolves?” I asked Tiara in a low voice.“You are really stupid! Why would I tell you? Remember I can’t help you!” Tiara said, refusing to a
*Angelina's POV*After waking up in front of the oldest mountain, I didn't waste any time and immediately went to the hospital where Kivvi was admitted. I had a lot of questions, but all of those mattered nothing more than Kivvi's condition.I ran very fast toward the office of the doctor who was monitoring Kivvi’s condition. Please let Kivvi be alive, and that I am not too late. I said to myself over and over while running, praying to the Moon Goddess. When I arrived in front of the office, I immediately opened the door and went inside without looking if someone else was inside.“Doctor, please use this cure to make Kivvi wake up again!” I yelled in front of the doctor as I quickly walked towards his table and presented the cure that I obtained from the secret garden.“Huh? What do you mean, miss?” The doctor looked at me with a confused expression on his face.I looked at the doctor with annoyance. Is he dumb or just has a comprehensive problem in his brain? ”Argh! Just come with me
*Angelina's POV*I was back at the hospital in virtually no time at all after my father gave his consent for Kivvi to be treated, and I dragged the attending physician towards the room where Kivvi was being treated. When we entered his room without knocking first, there was an obvious sense of surprise and curiosity among the people who were there. It didn't worry me that others were staring at me, so I went ahead and made my way to where Kivvi was lying in bed.It was a horrifying experience for me to watch him pass out and fall to the ground in front of me as he was sitting on the bed. I have a strong desire to give Kivvi a hug, but I am aware that doing so before he is in a condition where he can tolerate receiving one would be in poor taste. You've got to be kidding me. Someone who didn't know me got in my way and looked back to see if I was the person in question.I commanded the individual in a chilly voice to "Move" when I saw them standing there. To what end would it serve me
Chapter - 68*Angelina's POV*Getting out of the room with my father helped me regain my composure and perspective. My father prevented me from going back inside the house whenever I tried to do so. Maybe he didn't want things to get any more confusing than they already were.It is beyond my comprehension how he could ever fail to remember me. The events that have just taken place on the inside are so startling to me that my brain is still struggling to process them. I had hoped that once Kivvi is cured, we could finally be happy together, but alas, life is unfair. I was hoping that once Kivvi is cured, we could finally be happy together. First My life partner came dangerously close to passing away right in front of me, and as a result, he hardly remembers me today. I don't get why the world is so cold and heartless; it's as if I've committed the gravest crime imaginable. It was my father who told me, "You will not go back inside Angelina. You have already completed your duty as a mat
