*Angelina’s POV*

A part of my heart seems to have gouged out, dried, and died. I could hear the beats of my heart, but I couldn’t feel it alive, and colorful anymore. I was fighting, and protecting the cubs, that’s all I knew. But all my thoughts were solely focused on Kivvi. I was the one, who brought senses back to him, but I found I was no different either. I was scared, feeling miserable and desperate, and... guilty. I was scared, about what held for us in the future? Did it all end between us? I couldn’t help, but lose focus during the fight. I was fighting back, as hard as I could, and thwarted many wolves, but these thoughts were making me weak. That glare, it was all cold. It seemed like I have broken a piece of his heart, his trust in me, I have ended it all. My heart beat faster, every time I recalled his words. It made me miserable.

“Don’t you know that you should be focused while fighting?!” a wolf screamed, as he clutched his arms on my shoulder, moving to thwart my neck.
