Cora smiled. “It’s ok. I forgive you.”

“But, is grandma awake now? I want to see her.” Aiden continued to pester them.

“N–“

“Yes. Cora, take them there today.” Anamika beat Cora to it. Nadia is an understanding child. But as for Aiden, he doesn’t care about others if something is bothering him. Since he is being bothered with the thought of seeing his grandmother, it is better to let him see the reality for himself.

It’s cruel to shatter children’s fantasies, but when the matter is something that bothers their peace of mind, then it’s best to make them understand earlier on. So was Anamika’s principles of raising her kids.
