Chapter One Hundred And Thirty Seven

Adriana’s POV

“Who are you?” I spat at the young boy who looked so lost, one would think he had found himself on the wrong planet. “… and what were you doing by my door?” I added irritatedly.

The young lad who happened to be dressed as one of Massimo’s workers quickly bowed his head at me, and in a small voice, rushed out;

“I am Dylan ma’am, and I am very sorry for walking in on you the way I did. I was asked to call you down for dinner but I wasn’t sure of your room so I walked up to the one which was slightly opened.” He explained, pointing to the door which was slightly ajar.

Something about the way his eyes twinkled had me wondering if he was telling the truth or not but from the look on his face, and how innocent he seemed, I quickly brushed it off.

“How long were you standing there?” I asked instead, still bothered about the fact that he might’ve heard me.
