“Butler, I'll have to bother you to assist me invite Miss Bright in," she said to the door after gently putting down the book.

Cathelina Bright walked in as the door opened.

She smiled as she approached the bedside.

"Miss Greenwich, I heard you were pregnant and came to see you."
