Chapter 70 - Why Did It Have to be Her Sister

Tiredly, Kirsten ambled to the apartment building and rode the elevator getting to her floor.

“Where’s Gavin,” Kirsten asked when he found Gavin’s room empty.

“Sir Gavin, went outside. He went to see a friend.” Jolie answered.

Gavin could walk using a cane for support now, she had nothing to worry. It made her glad that her brother started to go out alone and meet friends.

“Let Mark have his nap. Gemma will pick him up later. And don’t wake me up, I want to sleep.” Kirsten went to her room and had a shower before diving to her bed.

When her mind drifted to Matthew again, she took a book and read until she fell asleep. No one woke her up even at dinner time as they knew that due to crying she had stayed awake the entire night.
