Luke found Vera sitting on the lounge.
She looked upset and stressed and so, he couldn’t help himself and rushed over to her.
‘I’m so sorry, Vera.’ He said, grabbing her hand. ‘That I didn’t come to you first.’
‘I understand why.’ Vera says. ‘What did that Asshole say. I bet he blamed it all on me.’
Luke thought, even if he did, he wouldn’t have believed him anyway.
‘He didn’t.’ Luke told her. ‘What did he do?’
‘He was being an Asshole.’ Vera spat.
‘What did he say, Vera?’ Luke asked. His voice strong.
‘He accused me of, he thought I was a good girl. He then went on to say, he didn’t think I would sleep with someone on the first date. I told him, that he didn’t know me.’ Vera told, Luke.
