Luke was surprised that Vera didn’t try and pull her hand out of his.
He liked it though.
He thought that her hand fit so perfect in his.
It felt amazing and so it made him smile at her.
And then he began to pull her towards the door.

Though when they were halfway down the stairs, she began to worry about how they were going to tell the children.
