They Would Pay

Jason's POV

The next day over at the company, the air seemed tense as I walked in. Everyone seemed to be staring at me muttering something under their breath.

My assistant approached me."Sir, we have a problem"

"What is it?"

"Your grandfather is here. He's in the meeting room with the board of directors"

I furrowed my brow in confusion; Grandfather was here?.

Hurrying up with my steps, I made my way towards the meeting room. Pushing the door open, my body shivered in the tense air.

Fixing my gaze at grandfather; I questioned, nervously.

"Grandfather, when did you start having a meeting without me?"

Grandfather didn't regard me but rather kept talking with the board of directors.

"So the reason why I called you all here is this; I came to announce to everyone that I will be choosing another person for the CEO position"

"What do you mean by that?" One of the directors inquired.

"Exactly what I said" Grandfather reiterated. "Because from today Jason has been stripped off that posi
