It Doesn't Mean I Like Her

Jason's POV

I picked up my phone which had been continuously buzzing on the table, I gazed at the screen to see it was my grandfather.

“Hey Grandpa,” I greeted as we exchanged pleasantries. We talked for a while, discussing business-related issues.

“I called to discuss an important issue with you,” he said.

“I am all ears,” I said.

"No you have to come see me right away," he said firmly.

I wondered why my grandpa would sound so urgent on the phone. I just hope he is fine.

"I will be there soon," I said.

I looked at my assistant and then we both left for the Clarksville family mansion. Soon we were there and I was told by a maid that my grandpa was in his study.

"Hey grandpa, what's up?" I said as I entered his office and I went to sit on the sofa.

My old man stood from his chair and came to the sofa, sitting opposite me. He heaved a long breath before he started talking.
