I Am Glad You Survived

Neither Vince nor I minded the man acting so cold. I was sure he is quite disappointed that we didn't bake rubbish even though it looks like it.

"It's almost time, stop behaving like a baby and go get dressed" he said bluntly.

" Get dressed?" I was confused.

"My appointment is in thirty minutes," he said.

I widened my eyes. I had totally forgotten about his appointment with Mike. Today was when we would know what was exactly wrong with him.

"Stop feeling concerned when you are not the one dying?" Jason mocked me and he regretted it immediately because Vince talked.

"Die? Who is dying?" He asked.

"No one is dying. I am just making fun of your mommy" he replied immediately.

Vince frowned, put his small hand in akimbo and the other hand pointed at his father.

"You always bully mommy. Have you forgotten that she's not only my mommy but also your wife? You told me that females should be treated right and yet you are breaking your own words. I am disappointed daddy" Vince said.
