"I can only think of a reason why Captain is here and ask you to keep a secret." Cynthia was instantly alert.

Ellora asked, "What is it?"

Matthew, however, was no longer composed. He was well aware that Cynthia had probably figured it out.

"Proposal." Cynthia's gaze fixed on Ellora, observing her reactions. "Am I right?"

She did not stare at Matthew because she knew how skilled he was at acting, and trying to detect any flaw on his face was unlikely.

Unfortunately, she forgot one thing.

Ellora was an actress.

A very talented actress, at that.

Upon hearing Cynthia's words, though she was taken aback, Ellora only offered a smile, staying silent.

Cynthia was stunned, wondering if she had guessed it wrong.

"Do you want me to propose to you that badly?" Matthew was relieved that Ellora did not give anything away.

Cynthia stayed quiet, still thinking if her guess was wrong, as her gaze shifted between the two of them. If it was not a proposal, then what was it?
