Nonetheless, Felix had ways to deal with him. "If you don't, I'll tell Cynthia that you're being rude. Don't blame me if she sends you away."

"Did you really lose your memory?"

"In a few days, I'll come to Nexruia and bring you back. You shouldn't disturb Cynthia and her family during the New Year." Felix probed the limits of his 'new son'.

"No!" Joshua blurted out.

Felix replied nonchalantly, "That's not for you to decide."

"If you come to get me, I'll run away from home," Joshua threatened, though his demeanor was far less intimidating than before.

"Heh."

Felix could not help but chuckle at his words. Looking out the window at the golden scenery, he casually remarked, "You speak as if you're at home."
