Amayra

"You said you won't go anywhere", I clamored. It was almost dark outside. I didn't want him to leave. At now when Dada and Daniel would be out there for a chance to try to kill him again.

"I have important work to do, Amayra", he cupped my face. "You don't need to get scared. Angela will be here"

"I'm not scared. I just don't want you to go", I blurted out, clasping his arm.

"I'll be back soon, baby", he pressed his lips with mine. I kissed him back for a while.

"Abraham, please....", I said between the kisses.

"Don't be stubborn. I told you I'll be back soon", he sucked my upper and bottom lip in sync and pulled me away. I had no reason to stop him. What would I even say? I was just waiting to get out of this hospital and get rid of the pain as soon as possible to take the next step.

"Take care. Okay?", he touched my cheek while smiling. I strived to smile back.

The next moment, he was out of th

AbrahamA week passed after that incident. Amayra was still in the hospital and she was about to get a discharge soon."Where are we going?", she asked while taking sips through the straw from her juice.I leaned over her she nudged her head back."Anywhere but together", I smiled at her but she didn't smile back."I... I wanna go home", she stammered, looking down."Yes, I'll be taking you home. Didn't you say that I'm your home?", I touched her cheek lovingly though I knew what she meant by home."Abraham", she lifted her gaze, looking straight into my eyes. "That home where I used to live for years""That's not your home anymore, baby. Don't argue", I sealed her lips for a short kiss and parted her away."Abraham... It's been a week. I didn't meet dada. He might be worried about me", she urged in desperation."Yes, he is worried. But not about you. About the things related to

Abraham"It's already a week. For how long I have to eat this shitty medicine?", Amayra clamored, glaring at the medicines on her palm as she shifted her innocent eyes to me as if she thought I would ask her not to have them."Three more weeks", I said, putting the packets in the drawer."Are you serious?", she blurted out."100% now put them in your mouth", scowling at her face, I sat beside her.She was passing some dirty looks."Amayra!!!", I glared at her, grumbling in a rough voice."I'm taking it, no? Give me some time", she frowned."You don't even stare at me so long the way you were staring at these pills", I frowned. "How much time do you need more? Take it. • Mr. Mafia, On Your Knees   102. Happiness interrupted

AmayraTwo weeks passed after our beautiful night. My health was better than before, my wounds were healing and it was all because of that one person. Abraham!I had gone through so many injuries for years and I learned to deal with them. I had no one to take care of me. I was always told that you would have to learn to live alone, take care of yourself. Strong people didn't need anyone, you couldn't give a fuck to anyone.Your wounds would heal anyhow. There was no need for extra care. Only weak people need them.Though my tiny heart had accepted that lesson from that tiny age, I still wanted someone to take care of me, at least my dada. I always thought my dada was making me different. Care, love, affection make a person weak. I didn't know if he was right or wrong. But I only knew that I needed a bit of those things I missed. I never knew how it felt to be loved and cared for.He made me feel everything.

AmayraI was sitting at the edge of the bed, trying Abraham's number. But he wasn't picking up. He seemed to be busy when he called me. My heart was beating faster as I heard all the noise outside, my nerves were shaking badly. I was going through the toughest phase of my life where I had to choose. My dada or Abraham. The man who raised me or the man who taught me to live. The man who made me something I was or the man who filled in life in the emotionless body.I always had a kind of arrogance in my personality. But today I felt like the weakest woman in the world. I wasn't myself anymore. As I heard the footsteps clicking near me, I lifted my devastated gaze, finding dada in front of me. For a moment, I felt happy, seeing him after so many days. My eyes filled."Amu, my child", he called me. My legs automatically slid down to reach him but something stopped me. I could remember Abraham's words.I didn't wann

Amayra "No!!!!", screaming aloud, I panted heavily. I realized what I did. I pushed dada which was unbelievable to me. "It's a lie. You're lying", screaming my heart out, I strived to get up but my body was too weak for it. "It's so bad, dada. It was so bad of you today", I sobbed. "You wanna break my trust and... This.... I can't believe this. I can't", I covered my face with my palms while crying. My whole body was shivering when I wrapped my arms around me. It was such a nasty situation when I felt myself scattering down into pieces. The burn inside me wasn't letting me breathe properly and I was choking to speak. "I wish it was a lie and I never wanted to disclose that your parents are dead", he said as I tightly closed my eyes, clenching my fists. "Do you think I can lie about my son's death?" Tears kept streaming down my eyes. Was I actually an orphan? Were my parents actually dead? My heart twisted in agony. I needed mo

AbrahamI was stunned by her action. Did she ask me to say away from her? It was better to be a fucking nightmare because if it was for real I didn't know how I should react. Moreover, she was looking devastated. Her entire body was trembling when she made a distance between us. That distance seemed so terrible. The last two weeks were so magical for us. She used to hug me for hours after I returned because she used to miss me. Today, it was so different."Amayra!", I gulped, peering at her. She wasn't looking at me. "What happened, baby? Why are you behaving like this to me?", my voice filled with agony and my hands shuddered to touch her again. She gathered herself away so that I couldn't touch her."Don't touch me", she groaned."Okay, fine. I won't", it felt so pathetic to say. "But at least tell me what happened. You're not looking okay at all"She wasn't saying anything which was making me more nervous. What the fuck that blood old fellow did

She hissed a bit, trying to release herself."Tell me, damn it. What the fuck did he say and you trust him?", I yelled."Boss......", Angela's tensed voice could be heard. "She'll get hurt.. My heart bled with her hisses but today I was biased towards the wounds she caused me."Leave....", she tried to scream

Amayra I climbed down the stairs. Abraham might have followed me but I didn't want him to come. He would stop me anyhow even if he was saying I could do anything to Eisha. He didn't know to what extent I could go for him. If I can get myself into a blast, if I can give my everything to him, I could do every fucking impossible thing for him. The living room was still filled with the lively voices of all. As I went there, I saw everyone except Eisha. I frowned and rolled my eyes. Did that bitch run away before I came? She better be. "Amayra!," Amelia called me, her eyes tense. "Where have you been? Where's bhaai? He left the conversation midway" "He's coming. Where's Eisha? Did she leave?," I gritted my teeth,

Amayra "You can't be serious", I mumbled, rolling my eyes, continued to scan his reactions well. I wanted him to tease me. He was teasing me! That was it. It's not true. He licked his lips, dropping his gaze, his grip around me was being tighter as if he wanted to hold me tight so that I didn't lash out. "It's true. She is working with me now", he lifted his guilty gaze at me, leaving me out of words. I wondered how to reach. Should I get mad or keep calm? My inside was churning out with the thought of him and Eisha being together. The flashes of that night came in front of me. She was so close to him. He was mumbling my name and attempting to kiss her, assuming her to be me. I couldn't forget the view when that bitch had touched his bare chest. The place, the man whom I could touch only! She fucking touched what was mine. What is mine! I squeezed my eyes shut to forget that damn view, clutching his arms tightly

Amayra "Well, the venue is awesome, aunty. A palace wedding. I can't believe it", Dhruv beamed. "I always wanted that palace to be the venue for my kid's wedding", mom smiled. They were seated, occupying the couch and looking at some venue photographs. "Oh! That means I'm also going to have my wedding here?", Amelia cracked up. "Only if the groom agrees", mom said. "And you still don't have a groom", Abraham laughed. "You'll have one soon", Eisha said, laughing with Abraham. Fucking hell! Was it a nightmare? It had to be. How dare she come to my house? And how dare she sit near him? My blood was blotching when I was gawking at Eisha and Abraham. And the fucking distance of two inches between them. Pathetic! A pathetic feeling! Abraham Fucking shit! Was she serious? She gotta be kidding me. "Are you serious, Amelia?", I scowled at her. Amayra didn't speak. How would she? She was practising to be an ideal, shy girl nowadays? "Too serious, bhaai. Since it's an Indian Hindu tradition. We should include Amayra's culture too, right? At least, some rituals could be followed. So, mom asked her to stay in my room. It's not good to meet before the wedding", she said while whispering. I had nothing to say. I just looked at Amayra. She pressed her lips only. I would miss her. "Okay, leave", I shrugged. "I'll send her" "Aha! You'll take hours to send her. I don't believe you", Amelia said. I had nothing to do but frown at her. "Amelia, I'll change my clothes first. You go", Amayra said. I controlled my smile, looking down. "Sure. Abraham I was numb for a moment, gawking at her in disbelief, out of words. She was stammering and I could see how nervous she was. But more than her, I was feeling restless. I looked at the cheque again. "Where did you get so much money? I mean your company has been seized too", I mumbled, looking down, ignoring eye contact with her. I didn't know how she got to know about my problem but I was more concerned about her. What did she do to bring such a huge amount? "It's not from the company. I don't have anything that belongs to Shashankveer Mehta. His money, his property", she said. "I left them behind. But— this is all I had" I forced my eyes to look at her. She was looking away. Not at me. "My hard work of last sixteen years. I had an account where I used to save all I won from tournaments. Basically, I started earning more when I participated in the premier leagues. A smile appeared on my face and I strived to hold her next to me. However, my hand couldn't reach her as I opened my eyes and didn't find her on the bed. Frowning, I sat up and rolled my eyes around while yawning. "Amayra", I called her. She didn't respond from any corner of the room. "Baby, are you in the washroom?" I walked into the washroom. She wasn't there too. She never woke up before me in the morning but today she was too quick and I didn't even know where she was. I came downstairs where Amelia and mom were discussing something, maybe about the wedding preparation. I saw Lily also sitting with them. "Good morning, bhaai", Amelia said with a smile.
