The Marking Point

Lucas had passed out that night and had missed a lot that has happened around him but at the time he came to, he was laying in a bed with a plaid bedcover, thick blankets on and his shirt was gone.

It was plain that it was just him who was in the bed and he was hearing some voices outside.

Just then, there's a small knock on the door and a lady had come in, extremely unfamiliar and dressed in a white gown with a black apron, she was dressed in the regular cloth that cleaners in hotels wear so he had immediately sat up and looked at her with alarm in his eyes.

He had been extremely angry that time coupled with the feeling of betrayal. He sat up and grabbed his clothes, fishing around in the pocket for his belongings but everything had been intact and somehow he had been bothered by that.

"Oh sir, I didn't know you were in here. I thought the room was empty and came in to clean. I'm sorry, I'll leave now." She had bowed very slightly and had turned to leave.
