Stella had her full attention on Keegan and did not notice anything else that was happening at all. Upon hearing what Marshall said, she asked, "What about my dad?"

Marshall paused. "Didn't he tell you about it?"

Stella shook her head.

Marshall hesitated for a moment but decided to tell her about it anyway. "My grandfather invited Uncle Wenham to our house and said some unpleasant things to him. I wasn't home at the time, and I only found out about it later from the maid. Uncle Wenham left without touching his food, and he did not look very happy when he left."

Stella knew nothing about this incident because Wenham had not told her about it at all.
