Almyra's POV,

My phone rang from the sitting room and I ran downstairs.

"Who is it?" I called out to Xavier when I got to the sitting room but I shook my head when I saw him serious with his phone.

"I don't know," he did not look away from his phone. "I'm busy, sorry."

I hissed and ignored him but before I reached the phone it had stopped ringing and I sighed in frustration.

"You could have just checked it!" I turned to him who now felt guilty. "You won't have died if you did that you know?"

"Actually, I am very sorry about that," he threw his phone on the couch and took a sip from his coffee.

I took the phone along with me and walked to the room where I was arranging my wardrobe since I had scattered it yesterday just to pick the cloth that I would be wearing to go out today.

The phone rang again and I felt like I broke the law of gravity just to pick the call, it was Malum this time.

"Hey," I smiled and sat on the sofa in the room before heaving a sigh of relief. "How is it going
