Almyra's POV,

I walked out of the kitchen after preparing the coffee for Gina and I.

As I walked into the living room, Gina looked up at me with a hint of gratitude in her eyes. I handed her a steaming cup of coffee, and she took a sip, closing her eyes in appreciation.

"Thank you, Almyra," she said softly.

I smiled and sat down beside her, cradling my own cup in my hands. The warmth of the coffee spread through my fingers, comforting me.

My eyes widened as I processed the information. "I had no idea Kitara would still try to cling to Xavier despite his current state."

"I know," Gina said, frustration creeping into her voice. "And it's like Xavier's given up. He's shutting everyone out."

Gina's expression softened. "We need to help him, Almyra."

I nodded resolutely. "I'll find a way to reach him. But first, we need to focus on getting you out of this toxic relationship."

Gina's eyes dropped, shame washing over her face. "I'm so sorry, Almyra. I should have—"

"Stop," I interru
