Almyra's POV,

I don't know how I was going to tell him that Xavier and I are not divorced. Instead, I just kept staring at him, unsure of what to say.

"Is that a yes or a no," he broke the silence between the both of us.

"We are still married," I smirked and gulped down all the content that was in the cup before dropping it on the table in a rude manner.

"What the fuck are you saying, Al?" His face twisted in confusion and he narrowed his gaze into slits. "That's not even possible, not like you guys could do a wedding behind closed doors," his words tumbled out in a rush.

"I was surprised when he told me too," I scoffed before burying my face in my palms.

Nature seemed to be getting the better part of me, and I was already feeling dizzy; it was taking complete charge of me.

It won't be long before I start sleepwalking to my room.

"We were all there that very day when you signed Al!" His voice was raised to a smooth tenor.
