Ivy knocked on the door for a long time, but no one answered. Worried that something might have happened to Catherine inside, she called a hotel staff member.

The Garden Hotel was under Shawn's jurisdiction, and although the staff didn't know Ivy's identity, they had received instructions from higher-ups. The seemingly ordinary woman in plaid clothes and canvas shoes was, in fact, a significant figure.

“Miss Lambert has already left," the female staff member said, wearing a smile but with clear disdain in her eyes. "She has returned to England. If I'm not mistaken, she should be on a plane right now," the female staff member added when she saw Ivy preparing to make a call.

Hearing this, Ivy paused for a moment and then silently put her phone back in her pocket.
