Chapter 105

Amara's POV

The following morning, I woke up in the guestroom in Esther's father's mansion and prepared to leave for the village. I went to the bathroom and saw that there was no sponge or soap there, and as I didn't want to leave for the village like that, I phoned Esther with my phone to come over.

Esther soon arrived at my room door, looking sleepy as she was in a milk-colored pajama.

"Good morning, Amara," Esther greeted me, and I smiled and replied, "Morning. There's no soap here or anything to use for bathing."

"Oh, that's true as we mostly don't keep sponges for our guests. Let me get you a new sponge. How about your clothes? Are you going to wear them home like that?" Esther inquired, and I nodded. Replying to Esther, I said, "Yes. The gown is new, so I will manage it like that. I don't want to spend any more time here, and you know once Darlington calls my parents to complain, they would advise me to give him some time and to remain here in the city, which I do not want."
