Rosy was still asleep beside Kendrick when he woke up, which hadn't happened in days now. After Rosy had spoken with the cook and had warned her not to open the door, she returned to bed.

She was scared, but she knew there was no way they would break into her house. She had received a text that the body had agreed to be at her place the next day when she was having a heated argument with Kendrick and he received a call.

Rosy didn't hear whatever Kendrick said on the call because she was so focused on the text she received that she had to stop what she was doing.

Kendrick kissed her on her lip and then slipped out of bed, heading to the bathroom to have a bath. He was still glad yesterday didn't turn out disastrous, thanks to the lessons he got from Emma.
