Chapter 150

"Mommy! Daddy!" Lyon yelled, running to Clara and Ronald as they entered the living room.

By the time Clara and Ronald got back home, it was late, and they were both exhausted. Ronald didn't expect them to take so much time as they did, and he was so happy that he cleared all the files off his desk the previous day even before Aiden came to visit him.

Their drive home was one filled with worry as Clara was scared about taking Lyon outside. She had wanted to refuse when her father said he wouldn't say anything till they brought Lyon, but Ronald was quick to accept.

She had relayed her disturbing thought to Ronad on their way, but Ronald assured her that he would do everything to protect Lyon and that she should stop worrying about it, but she didn't stop.

When they entered the living room so exhausted, they met Lyon and Rosy playing together with Lyon's toy, and seeing Lyon's face, all the exhaustion disappeared immediately.

"How are you doing, son?" Ronald asked as he carried Lyon up.
