Maxwell

I was making myself coffee in the kitchen when I felt a presence behind me, and it was none other than Diane.

I turned around to face her.

"Good morning" she whispered, and I nodded, pointing to the stool,

"Care for some coffee?"

"Yes please", I could understand her eagerness after the amount of alcohol she had taken last night.

Silence ensued between us, and I was not about to break it.

Yes, I had been the one to see her at the bar, but she had been the one to say she didn't want to go home, invading my home in the process.

She was also in my shirt, something I had changed her into without feeling much, surprisingly. I had thought I would reel over from the feelings, but I was fine, surprisingly.

"Thank you for yesterday" she said, and I nodded, still sipping my coffee.

"Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded.

"I think I'll be going now" she said after a while, but I stopped her with my next question.

"Without telling me why you didn't want to go home yesterday?"
