I walked out in the dress some minutes later and the way he looked at me from head to toe had me recoiling into a shell.

Like, can he stop doing whatever he was doing?

It was affecting me in a way.

I cleared my throat and walked past him, "we should hurry, the event must have started."

He followed me into the elevator, and we took the minute-long elevator ride to the lobby. There we walked out to the streets where a black car was parked, and the driver drove us to the event venue.

It felt more like we were lovers than boss and secretary and I didn't like that.

"We're here" the driver said once he got to the hotel where the event was being held, and we walked in amidst the little paparazzi that were around.

"Stay close to me and take note of important things" he whispered close to my ear and I nodded before he started greeting the people that came up to meet him.

Apparently, he was more famous as a playboy than the CEO of Sterling Fashion. No, Di Lusso.

I loved the new name more.
