Raya

The day of the party finally arrived, the night of Friday and, since it was the day before the weekend started, I decided to just show my face at the event, wish Tyla a happy birthday and give her the gift I had bought her before leaving.

Let's just say it didn't go that way.

First off, I got the gift I had planned for her, a small cut-sized cake because I didn't have the money for anything else really, and I got into my car after leaving the pastry shop.

I drove down to the address I had seen on the invitation letter and did a double take when I saw the huge house.

Damn, was this her parents' house? Or does she really live alone here?

I couldn't find any adults around though, when I walked in amidst the music and people that were sitting around the swimming pool and smooching, and I sighted the celebrant almost immediately in the center of the living room.

"Miss. Caddel" I said as I went to meet her and her face lit up.

"Miss Caddel?" One of the ladies that was beside her asked
