Syrus’s POV

Syrus was still reeling from the embarrassment he faced at Vivian’s house. Vivian’s father had slammed the door in his face and they hadn’t even bothered to open the door again even though Syrus had swallowed his pride and rung the doorbell again.

He had walked away feeling highly insulted and determined to carry out his legal action against Vivian.

Now, Syrus could not even tell if Vivian was at home or not. He would never admit it to anyone, but he was really worried, and more worried because she had his babies in her stomach. Syrus hadn’t thought that Vivian would want to make things extremely difficult for him. If she hadn’t opted to kick him out of the process of their kid’s antenatal and birth, he would have feared that something bad had happened to her, but right now, Syrus had no doubt that Vivian was absolutely avoiding him. She knew that the only way she could punish him was not showing up for their doctor’s appointment. Today was supposed to be their restaurant

Vivian’s POVThe rest of the night with Jane flew by, because after she told me that she was the one who connected Ted with the dangerous man, I just blanked out on the other things that she said. I wanted to grab Jane and yell at her for causing so much issues in my family, because if she hadn’t introduced Ted to something as dreadful as drug trafficking. When she got really drunk, she had begun to spill most of what she had done before and after she met Ted, and it became obvious to me that she was certainly the one who dragged Ted into the life he in now and changed him completely from the brother she used to know. After that night, I concluded that I did not want to be friends with Jane. Granted, when she had told me that Ted was her boyfriend, I had been ecstatic, because then it would give me the insight into Ted’s life; something that Manny couldn’t give.So the next morning, when I arrived at the coffee shop and Jane arrived a couple of minutes later, I gave her the cold sho

Georgia’s POVGeorgia got dressed, humming excitedly. It was going to be a good day, regardless, because she was having a lunch date with Nancy and Bonnie. She already felt like a part of Syrus’s family, and she intended to break the news to them about she and Syrus over lunch.“You won, girl,” Georgia told herself. She stared at her reflection in the mirror and said to herself, highly impressed with what she saw, “You are such a gorgeous goddess! No wonder Syrus could not resist you.”Georgia knew without a doubt that she was more gorgeous than Vivian, and her looks had also been one of the things that had gotten her where she currently was now. Georgia knew that Syrus liked her, he only needed a little push, and she understood that, which was why she was going above and beyond to ensure that she secured her place in Syrus’s life.“Of course he can resist you, you are the one forcing yourself hard on him.”Georgia startled on the harsh voice that filtered into her bedroom and disrupt

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   Look Who Is Here

Georgia’s POVGeorgia intentionally waited up for Syrus. Truth be told, she was surprised he was staying out this late, because the Syrus that she knew always wanted to get home before it was past 9pm, and looking at the time now, it was already past 11pm.Georgia busied herself with a show on TV as she waited for Syrus in her sexy lingerie in order not to fall asleep. She could hardly contain her joy when Nancy and Bonnie had insisted that she spent the night after their lunch date, which later dragged into a dinner date, because they could not get enough of Georgia’s gist. They wanted Georgia to tell them how it all went down, and Georgia ensured that she did not leave much details out.“No, you definitely have to spend the night. You are practically family now, and I am sure tha Syrus has planted his seed in you already,” Nancy had said firmly.Georgia had pretended to hesitate, meanwhile inside, she was doing the happy dance. “I don’t want to overstep my boundaries. • Mr. CEO We're Done!   More Pain

Vivian’s POVWhen Jane strolled into my small room freely as though I hadn’t given her cold shoulders all day, I had no choice but to shut the door. I was angry and uncomfortable, but it was obvious that she was a busybody, and there was nothing I could do to chase her away from me.I stood by the door after shutting it to calm down on my rising temper, then when I turned to at least confront Jane, she was settled comfortably on my bed with a sheepish grin on her face.“I told you I wanted to be more professional and formal with you henceforth, Jane,” I started, sounding as stern as I could. If I wanted to pass my message across, I needed to be more serious with my tone, because I needed Jane to understand that I meant it. No matter how much I tried, I could not shake off the fact that she was the one who led Ted into the danger he was in, and there was no way I could just let that off easily. The only way to not even strangle Jane was to avoid her. “So what are you doing here?” I ask

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   Don't Be Afraid To Take From Him

Vivian’s POVI could not move, breathe or say a word for a few seconds. I just stayed there staring at the picture. It was not enough that Syrus cheated on me with Georgia. It was not enough that he began a relationship with her right after our divorce. It was not enough that he came out in public and defamed my name, and now, he had elevated to sleeping with her on our bed?He did not even bother to change the sheets! The last time Syrus and I had sex, two weeks after our divorce, which I was sure led to us making babies, we had done it on that very sheet, and he was already sharing it with Georgia? “Hey, what’s wrong?” Jane asked, a worried expression on her face. She had been calling out Ted’s number to me, but I obviously blanked out and did not respond. I still held the phone in my hands and the picture still displayed on my screen, and I could not tear my eyes away from it no matter how much I tried to convince myself that I should. When I did not answer still, Jane peered to

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   You Have What You Want Now

Syrus’s POVSyrus stayed up in bed, unable to sleep. He had different and conflicting thought running through his mind. He would be lying to himself if he did not say he was confused and worried. Not about Vivian, but about Georgia. Not that Syrus was not worried about Vivian, because till now, he still hadn’t heard anything from her, seen her or even know where she was, although he still had the feeling that she was holed up in her father’s house and hiding, and not that he wasn’t confused about the whole situation with Vivian’s silence and absence, but he just wasn’t consumed with it for now.Syrus’s recent trouble was Georgia.First of all, he was still regretting his actions of sleeping with her. Syrus was regretting it, not out of loyalty for Vivian, because she was also being unfaithful to him, but because he hadn’t decided yet that he wanted to start something with Georgia. Syrus had barely gotten out of a divorce, and the last thing he wanted right now was to get into another

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   A Different Place

Vivian’s POVThe morning began with a busy routine, unexpectedly. That morning, customers had trooped in like bees to a flower, and it had been the first time since I got here that this was happening.“Our tables are all occupied,” Jane whispered behind me happily. I startled, because I hadn’t seen or heard her walk up to me. I didn’t even know that she was also watched at the wonderment of it. We had served almost all of the coffees in the shop that morning, and it wasn’t even 10am yet. “Oh, yes,” I whispered in return and kept quiet after I had recovered from my shock. Then I faced the small crowd that had gathered in the shop, ignoring Jane. She had slept off in my room the other night after we talked about our relationships and how it ended deeply. Actually, she had begun to cry profusely about Ted leaving her, and I had consoled her until she fell asleep, but by morning, I had returned to giving her my cold shoulders. I wanted her to still know that I did not want the so-called f

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   A Huge Lie

Vivian’s POV“Well, you would have to get there to find out,” had been Leo’s wife’s response to my question. As I got dressed to leave the room that day for my antenatal registration, I reminisced on her response. She gave me a note to her cousin, so that it be easier for me when I got there, and she also promised to call him on my behalf and inform him that I was coming. “I just hope and pray that they are not as strict and formal as the last hospital I used,” I said to myself. “Otherwise, you would be toast, Vivian,” I told myself. The last thing I needed right now was to get there and be told that Syrus needed to be present in order to be able to register or carryout my antenatal process. I strongly did not want Syrus to be involved in the process. I didn’t want him to be in the first place, and if the first hospital hadn’t insisted, I would have done it successfully without him, but their protocols would not be broken.“Damn hospitals and their bloody protocols,” I spat.It was po

She was always happy to know that she always had an edge over Vivian and Belinda…always.“That is not a polite way to speak to an old enemy,” Georgia said.Belinda looked around, worried that anyone would hear them, even though they were speaking at a private corner in her office.“You shouldn’t have come here, Georgia,” Belinda said angrily. “You have done enough damage, and the least you could do is simply leave me alone. Do you know what would happen if I lost my job?” Belinda asked, deeply worried and irritated. She had always hated Georgia, but Belinda never knew that she could hate Georgia the way she did right now, especially after the havoc that Georgia h

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   Impossible Request

Syrus didn’t tell his mum, because he knew that she never liked the man, but he had stayed in his room and wept. That was the closest thing to a father that Syrus ever had, and it pained him deeply that he didn’t even give Anderson enough of his time. After Anderson fell ill and couldn’t continue working at the company, Syrus had simply never paid him a visit. Yes, he had been completely financially responsible for Anderson, but that had been it, and now, Syrus regretted it deeply. He wished his only time of visiting Anderson was the only time. • Mr. CEO We're Done!   Stars And Shows

Georgia’s POV“…your contract with this TV show is over.”Georgia kept hearing those words in her head as she headed out of the venue. She could not believe her ears. It was as though she was hearing a weird sound in her ears.“Just like that, they have kicked me out,” Georgia asked as she booked a cab. “I seriously need to get Syrus to buy me a bloody car, and fast!” Georgia said in between. She felt used and tossed like a piece of trash. She never knew about this policy about TV shows and their stars. All along, Georgia had simply thought that a contract was all she needed, but it was obvious that that wasn’t the case. “I should have done everything possible to keep Brenda there,” Georgia said to herself angrily.More realization began to dawn on her; as a star, one of the things about her career is that once one TV show drops a star, the others who had already signed a contract might likely also drop the star. Being in the business for this long had made Georgia realize that most

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   Gone Contract

Georgia’s POVAfter Georgia managed to get Nancy out of her apartment by lying, as usual, she pondered on a lot of things.Somehow, deep inside, Georgia knew that if she did not take hold of things, Syrus and his family would find a way to get out of her hook. Regardless of what Georgia now knew about Syrus, she also could not neglect the fact that Syrus held some power and influence in the country. If it had been easy, Ken would have come out with the truth already. Georgia wasn’t stupid; she had been in the streets and playing this game for as long as she could possibly remember, and she knew that if one wasn’t careful, even she and Ken would not be able to take down Syrus.Besides, Georgia had no motive to run Syrus down; if she did, how would she get the life she had envisioned? Georgia was too invested in the family of Vale to begin her strategy all over again with another wealthy and influential family. She knew how the system worked, and if Georgia wasn’t careful, if she wasn’

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   One Question After Another

Georgia’s POVThis was the first time that Georgia was standing right in front of Nancy and she was not just speechless, but she was also feeling uncomfortable. “Can I come in?” Nancy asked in an icy cold voice.Georgia cleared her throat and said, “Yes, of course.”Then she moved out of the way for Nancy to come in. Georgia could not stop wondering how Nancy managed to know where she now lived. She remembered that the last time they spoke, she hadn’t made mention of any house, and the fact that Nancy was right here, uninvited by Georgia and her look of displeasure was a clear enough indication that this wasn’t a case of peaceful visitation. Georgia watched Nancy enter slowly into the living room and looked around, and because Nancy’s back was back facing Georgia, she could not exactly tell Nancy’s reaction or emotions. Was she upset? Was she enraged? Was she aggravated? Georgia could not tell.“This is quite a lot,” Nancy said, her voice sounding bland.Georgia was almost tempted t

Georgia’s POV“Things are always just effortlessly working out for me!” Georgia said in excitement. She didn’t even need to find a doctor that would do what she wanted to do; Ken had promised to help her through it, unlike her former doctor who was preaching honesty.“Well, maybe it is because I have labored too hard to get to where I am now, and everything is just falling into place now,” Georgia continued. She and Ken had spent about two extra hours making plans, and she could hardly believe that she was getting everything sorted out. • Mr. CEO We're Done!   A Chance At Bonding

Syrus’s POVSyrus got home, more exhausted than he had been. He was able to get Davis out of his hair. He already knew that he would not be able to tell anyone about what he was going through, and at the same time, he still hadn’t been able to come up with how to get the truth about what happened years ago with the Frenchman.“If only Anderson was kind enough to just tell me how to go about it easily without the hassles,” Syrus said to himself. He knew that Anderson would tell him if it was in his right to do so, but that did not change the fact that he wished Anderson had the solution to his problem, because there was no one else who knew about his past except Anderson, and of course, the slimy, sneaky Ken.Syrus got into the living room, and he was reminded of how he left the house and the issue with his mother. The living room seemed quiet and serene, and Syrus was hoping that he could just sneak into his bedroom and hide until the next day when he would leave for work, because h

  • Mr. CEO We're Done!   A New Team

Georgia’s POV“Tell me everything I need to know,” Georgia said to Ken.She could barely contain her glee for this useful information. Before now, Georgia had wished that she knew something ugly and dirty about Syrus, his family, or the family’s company, so that should Syrus make an attempt to leave her after his family had publicly paraded her as their chosen daughter-in-law, she would have something to hold them by. She had tried to find something, but nothing was forthcoming. Albeit, Georgia just knew that there had to be something. She had been in this game long enough to know the ways of wealthy and powerful men, and she just knew…“At what cost?” Ken asked.Georgia was taken aback. He came to her willingly with information and claims that they had something in common, and now he was seeking something in return?Georgia scoffed. “So it’s now scratching my back, I scratch yours now? I never asked for this, Doctor Ken. You showed up at my house unannounced demanding for something i
