Annelise's POV

“Contaminated, how?" I asked him with a frown on my face.

“There's a substance in either the water you used for bathing or the one you drink." He replied.

He's only confusing me the more, my brows furrowed together in confusion as I stared from him to the paper in my hand.

“What I'm saying is that it's either someone did this to you unknowingly or the water is just contaminated normally. But if it's contaminated, it means everyone in the house is meant to have the same reaction to it."

My mouth formed an 'oh' as realization dawned on me.

"So the water made these appear on me?” I asked.

"Yes, I'll prescribe an effective ointment that'd clear the marks, I'll advise that you purify your water very well before drinking too.” He replied.

“And a drug that you only need to use for today so every other traces of the substance would be flushed from your system.” He added.

“Thank you, would that be all?" I asked, feeling neutral.

He scribbled down something on a paper before him
