5. Annabelle?

Richard was so angry that he couldn't concentrate at work. He went to his favorite club, a place he often goes at night to get drunk and stop thinking about Annabelle for a second. Though the alcohol helps sometimes, it's just for the night.

Richard has only one friend, Noah, and he is not in the city at the moment. Noah is his drinking mate, and he misses him. Though Noah can be a pain in the ass sometimes, he is still the only one who understands Richard the most and tolerates his stubborn and unbearable behavior. Noah was also the one that made him realize his love for Annabelle, though his pride wouldn't let him show the love to her.

He wanted to believe that Annabelle behaved the way she did because of the way he treated her, but he definitely treated her well the last few months of their marriage, especially when she was pregnant. Though he couldn't express his love directly, he still made her feel it one way or the other. He didn't realize how much he loved her until he lost her. The last few years have been hell to him. He couldn't explain how much he missed her. Although he kept saying that he's angry with her, and won't forgive her once he finds her….. his heart knows the truth. The truth that pisses him off, and he hates it whenever anyone speaks of her.

He doesn't mind drinking alone tonight. He just wants to get drunk. He found his usual spot and ordered his favorite drink. He saw how the girls at the club tried to get his attention, but none of them picked his interest. He is rich and handsome and attracts attention wherever he is, especially from girls. He could have any of them with ease. He has tried one time but couldn't pull it off. He thought it could help him get his mind off a lot of things, but he found himself pulling out before anything could happen.

He was already getting tipsy when a slender delicate figure walked up to him. The lady is in a black fitted short dress, her pretty, sexy long legs exposed, tempting a lot of men around. But she didn't care about the lustful eyes staring hungrily at her. All her attention was focused on Richard, who was drowning in alcohol.

The pretty lady sat beside him with a beautiful, charming smile, which made her more alluring. In a sexy way, she slowly ran her fingers through his hair. He angrily pushed her hand away as he glared at her. He wondered how the lady had the courage to get close to him. Though his handsome face attracts many girls to him, none of them dare step close to him. He has this strange, dominating aura that scares people away. This girl must be so daring. She not only got close to him but had the guts to touch him.

The moment he looked at the lady, his breath caught in his throat as his eyes widened in shock. He flapped his lashes and looked closely at her to make sure he's not imagining things.

“Annabelle,” he muttered, his eyes carefully studying the pretty lady in front of him.

The pretty lady smiled and brought her lips closer to his. Her intention was to kiss him. He was so shocked that he didn't move a bit as the girl claimed his lips.

He gasped between the kisses as he widened his eyes in shock. Without thinking twice, he kissed back. He deepened the kiss, savoring her sweet mouth. For the first time in the last five years, he felt alive. This feeling….. could she be his Annabelle. Did she come back to him?
