Thank You so much for Choosing Mr Black!❤️
My name is Ogheneochuko Williams, the Writer of Mr Black, I want to thank you for clicking on this story, it's my favorite book ever and it took a lot for me to start it and eventually end it. I have always loved writing and I'm so happy that we young writers are being given a chance to come out of our shelves and write on a big platform like Good Novel.
When I found out that there was a writing app like Good Novel, I was elated, it was like all my dreams came through. Personally, Writing for me isn't just a way or means of making money, it's a passion and source of happiness.
About The Book
I started researching on mental disorders one morning and I came across a disorder called O.L.D, Obsessive Love Disorder, it's a mental disorder that makes a person abnormally obsessed with a person, this disorder plays with the person's mind and head into believing that the other person is their everything and they get madly in love with that person and are very jealous and insecure about them leaving, they are also really violent and mostly care about their satisfactions and not the person's. It is the point of Focus in this thrilling love story, And you will get to understand more about it later on.
The main focus of Mr Black is Love and Obsession and how they vary and I am going to try my best to use my characters to portray this important topics, I hope you enjoy.
Please Note: This Book is not suitable for readers under the age of sixteen as it contains, matured languages and mild sex scenes, Thank You.

"Grace!!!!!" I heard him scream my name amist the drizzling sound of rain pouring. I gulped hard as i remain seated in the car, my heart racing through my chest.
"Don't Move, Just Stay calm". Jason said placing a hand on my lap.
I remain seated clasping my hands together, while my eyes dart back and forth.
"Grace!!, Please don't leave me". His voice sounded cracked almost strained even, I place one hand on my chest rubbing circles on it as I continue to sit in silence.
I can only hear the sound of rain and nothing more. I waited for a sign of him still being there, but I'm only met with thunder that shakes me up in My seat.
"I think he left". Jason said calmly.
"I think so-". I don't get to finish my sentence when the car door opens abruptly, I am met with a cold that makes me shiver, but more importantly I come face to face with him, All drenched in rain with a cold expression on his face.
He forcefully grabs my hand yanking me out of the car. He pushes me against the door slamming it shut. The rain slams me immediately and my clothes become sticky. I try wiggling out of his hold, but his cold hands keep me in place.
"How dare you leave me?" He draws out in a strained voice that makes my eyes hurt. I don't respond as I tried to look away, his hands grab my cheeks pulling them back to face him.
"I loved You," He pauses a bit scanning my eyes, "Hell!, I still love you".
I try not to react but I'm taken back by his statement, I try wiggling out of his grip again but he holds me back in place hitting my back on the car forcefully.
"Don't Run away from Me Grace", His eyes fall away from my face as his voice turns soft, "I don't know what I'll do if you leave me".
Thank you!.
Present Day August 20th 2024 8:40am The streets were filled again, with cars driving speedily and with people, mothers, fathers and children all scrambling over to their various destinations, and with shops and various outlets stationed at various sides of the road. Hers was a cafe, that stood at the other side of the road, built with transparent windows on all sides to help her viewing. The streets were always busy compared to her small coffee shop, her cafe was warmer and was usually occupied by few customers who spoke in hushed tones, it was nice but did nothing to help her sanity. The busy streets did a better job at calming her down, the sound of people chattering as they passed by her cafe and the sounds of horns and sirens helped her. She needed that calm more than ever today. Her mind was ablaze, it had started last week, when her mother reminded her of the day she was trying to forget for years, it was now a week away. She was seating at a distant table at the end of the co

The room was painted in light pink and white stripes to match. Grace laid on the small bed covered in peach colored bed covers, still deep in sleep, her eyes still closed as she squinted away from the bright light as she continued dreaming...She was arriving at the hotel in her scooter, as the paparazzi called her name, "Grace Winters, Miss Grace can you pose for a picture?" One said."We love you!!!" .Another said. She smiled at the

4 : Bridges, Coins and Attractions New York was busy as usual, people walked through the streets , trying to get to their destination as soon as possible, Cars and Taxis drove speedly across the busy streets, the annoying sound of horns and cars screeching were heard, the familiar garbage smell polluted the air, While the passerby’s walked in oblivion. Grace was still anxious, even more anxious than she had been at home, though she was seated in her mother's 2010 ford model car, fidgeting with her fingers, she couldn't help but panic a little even with her mother sitting by her side. She was about taking the biggest step in her life, and she could either come out a victor or a loser, the thought of loosing this opportunity gave her a shock and she didn't think she would be able to handle it if it were to happen. Her mother, Eliene was driving, paying strict attention to the road, to notice her panic

The limousine drove through the huge gates, followed by two black cars, revealing a huge mansion and estate. As the limousine drove in fully into the compound, it past a huge fountain that stood in front of the mansion, completing the whole compound. Chapter 7 : The Interview (Part 1)Miss Grace Winters, You're Next".Her heart stopped, her hands were sweaty, her body was moving on its own accord and her mind was all over the place. So many questions ran through her mind. When you stand before the panel, you either give your all or go home And remember a good actor doesn't just act the part, he or she becomes the part, always learn to connect to your emotions Grace. She thought hard on it before breathing in and going straight to character, She closed her eyes as she connected to her most painful memory, the day her father was buried, 10 years ago, she remembered crying and weeping close to the corpse when she tried giving a speech about him, she could remember the pain and she tried to connect to that pain as drops of tears fell from her eyes to her cheeks, she remembered the distraught look on her mother's face as she said her last goodbyes and that was all she needed to be Anita. Opening her now puffy eyes, with te
“Meredith was the love of his life”. Jason Said to her, before downing his Drink. Grace’s drink Dropped from her hand to the table, It’s content threatened to spill but with the distant being so near, it couldn’t. She ignored the Occurrence and fell back to her seat, much like an act of defeat, instead of the I test which Jason was Hoping and waiting for her to have. “Oh”, Jason heard her say, a one syllable word that left nothing more to question or understand. “Why did you ask?”, Jason asked her, He wanted to inquire, bit tried to be casual about it. “I have heard a lot, Just thought to know”. Grace said looking away, Her bright face had deemed and the most interesting thing was now her meal which she was hardly interested in. “Everyone tries to know, Mr Black is a man of Mystique,” Jason Tittered, “Much could be rumour, but there is always truth lying in between”. Jason said again. Grace looked up this time, She knitted her brow at him, She won
Ominous Pov The Sweet Shop was packed with employees, Mem and woman sat in pairs, Groups of Threes and fours, Some even merged tables together to form a group of eight as they chatted away, Grace surveyed the area as she walked in with Jason, She barely spotted a table at the very end with two Empty chairs, Perfect!. She thought. “There is a table with empty chairs, I think one of us should secure it while the other gets the meal, Hmm?”. Grace asked. “That isn’t a question, Text me your order, I’ll get it for you”, Jason said pushing her ahead. Grace wanted to object but Jason was pessimistic, she reached to open her purse but Jason immediately stopped her, “It’s on Me Grace!”. Grace shyly Dropped her purse. “Okay”. She managed to say before walking away . Jason made his way to the long unmoving line while Grace made her way to the seat. Grace sat down and dropped the contents in her hand on the table. She grabbed her phone and quickly texted her order to James, before dropping it
Work was exhausting, I had barely Arranged all the files assigned before the time was up, I was exhausted after the two hours was up. Emotionally drained, I managed to move away’ with the hefty documents, I took them from my desk and made my way to Ms. Denver’s office. Her Office felt more father than before, bit I knew it was my mind playing tricks. I Knocked twice, Before waiting for a ‘Come In’, But I heard none, Rather the Door opened and Gerard walked gracefully out after I stepped to the side. I turned towards his desk, I was confused and the look on my face confirmed it to him, “I didn’t see You Get up”. Gerard pouted, We were still standing at entrance of Ms. Denver’s office, “Well you seemed very invested in your worked..”, He narrowed his eyes at me, “And I don’t think I should report where I go to you huh?”. Stupid Me,!, “Sure, Well I should go drop this in”. I said and Gerard moved for me to enter. I quickly moved to Ms Denver’s table, I laid out the Files on her table
The Tour around Black Entertainment was simple and quick, We had successfully moved around the 22 floors of the huge building and were making our way back to Doris Denver’s office. “Thank you for the tour Miss Alex”, Louisa said politely, Miss Alex turned slightly and gave her a polite smile, from the corner of my eyes I saw Gerard roll his eyes to spite her. I said nothing. The elevator soon released a 'ding' sound and the doors opened ajar for us to pass through. We did not head for Mrs Denver’s office anymore, rather we passed through a door besides Mrs Denver’s office and found ourselves in a busy office of approximately fourteen people with two empty chairs. The office seemed to have been designed in sections that only added to the beauty and architectural intelligence on it’s designed, I gasped at the clean and seemingly healthy working environment. It matched up to the standard and name that came with Black Entertainment. “Gerard and Louisa , you both will work directly und
Doris Denver sat crossed legged on the Black wooden seat hidden behind the huge office desk at the centre. A slow jazz song played through the huge office and D.D moved her head slowly to the sound of the song while her eyes followed the pages of the file she was flipping in her hands. Two persons, A man and A woman both dressed in cooperate attire stood in front of the desk with their hands both folded to the back. Grace walked into the office with her tiptoe and her head first making sure not to make a noise. Once in, She tried closing the door gently behind herself, but that was a huge fail. Her plan to be discreet was a fail as the door made a creek sound once it connected to the wall. The eyes of the three persons in the room immediately turned to face her. D.D who was reading a file closed it up and placed it on the table before pulling her glasses and placing it on the table. “Welcome Miss Win
The scent of lavender filled Grace’s nostrils as she stepped into the office. The office was similar to Mr Black's office, it was Big and had a mix of all shades of Grey and Black, it was a calm office, one that seemed to resonate with the owner. The only pop of colour were the lavender Flowers that was situated at the four corners of the room. As Grace walked into the office, She immediately spotted Mrs Smart sitting upright on her chair behind her table with her arms crossed. Miranda looked a bit different from the first time Grace had seen her. Standing in front of her soon to be boss in such proximity and clearer mind, she was able to examine her soft features and hard exterior. Miranda was a beautiful middle aged woman, just like all the women Grace had seen earlier, she resonated her own beauty and was pretty in her skin. She had a bright glossy skin that complimented the dark velvet red gown and gold jewelry she had
Heading Back to Black Entertainment the next day felt nostalgic to Grace. The feeling of excitement mixed with fear and anxiety remained the same, like the first day she had walked through the huge doors of the building in hopes for a better life. Grace clutched on to the little blue file in her hand, one that contained the unprofessional CV she had managed to create after deciding not to cry again and finally searching on the internet as she wasn’t experienced in creating one. Grace’s eyes were puffy, and her naturally blue eyes were red, She had cried for the whole of the night only stopping when she remembered she had a job the next day. Grace stood In front of the huge building with a smile, Though she was scared inside, she decided not to tremble from it, rather, She put on a cool exterior and walked into the office. Grace partially knew her way around the company, She could remember some faces especially Jane a receptionist at the main lobby who
Chapter 39 “You’re here early, No calls from daddy I see”. A brown haired lady comments as she enters the room of the café. “Well the faster we get things moving, The better for us”. Rebecca said barely smiling. The woman sauntered into her seat which had been pulled over my a male waiter, who threw both ladies a smile. “You’re coming home with me later “. Rebecca said winking at him. The waiter smiled more before heading out of the secluded room “Still a hoe huh?” The woman snarklily remarked. “And you’re always a pain in the ass,” Rebecca said raising her eyebrows, “But that’s not why we’re here”. Rebecca sat upright, crossed her legs over, she looked all around before speaking. “ It’s going too slow, The boy isn’t doing much, we don’t have enough time”. Rebecca's eyes wandered as she spoke. The woman took a whiff
Chapter 38 L’orange wasn’t too far from where she stood, a few turns to the left and she was standing face to face with the gigantic store that seemed too Porsche for her. Grace slouched her shoulders, taking in a huge breath as she stared through the transparent doors of the huge building. Women of all ages chatted inside while a group of ladies dressed in a particular style , black pencil skirt, white button dress suits , a blue silk scarf tied to the left, black panty hose and their hair braided neatly to a bun. They looked oddly similar, but very beautiful women. At first glance at the slightly taller one in the store that caught her attention, she could tell she was working there. Grace gathered herself, envelope in hand and her cross bag to the side, she walked her way inside with the help of a man in black suit one who she assumed to be a guard. She politely greeted the man however not earning a response ba
